I have been officially shut down!

My boss had his dog trained upon the command “Go 💩 in so and so’s yard”, and off it went.

    Recommended tools?

As others mentioned, the wheeler fat wrench is a good idea to have. I also went through sort of a binge buying of pits this past winter. Top left is Lowe’s Kobalt, top right doesn’t have a brand name I think from Amazon, bottom left is Harbor Freight and bottom right is Klein Tools I bought at...

I have been officially shut down!

Next thing you know, they’re going to consider this a firearm. What the heck, it’s getting crazy out there. 😂 In all seriousness though, I can feel your pain. In my city (suburb) we can’t shoot anything. Pretty sure a slingshot would be in same category as a 9mm. No bows, knife throwing...

    Giving Away Used Gear

I hear ya @IHatePaper. I’ve been in that same boat with a number of hobbies (addictions as my wife calls them). Obviously posting in AGN classified is an option but shipping is so costly anymore I would hope the recipient of the item pays shipping cost at least. But even more of a PITA is a...

FFP or SFP Thinking about a change

Same here. I leave my scope set at 8X always. My pesting is anywhere from 15 to 50 yards, and a 50 yard shot is unusual. At 8X I get good field of view and good magnification of critter. My range finder hangs on my neck. When I arrive at my sit I range a few items in my shooting lanes...

    Airgun Shooting bench?

Agree, your shooting seat should never be attached to the shooting table.

    Airgun Shooting bench?

Yep, treated wood base and Trex or similar composite top. If it’s in the sun, that stuff gets uncomfortably hot, so I would have a custom cut piece of indoor/outdoor carpet or astro turf to throw on top to keep elbow and forearm 2nd degree burns to a minimum. 😳

American Air Arms AAA Evol question

In a three year period, I owned about every high end PCP made except electronic models. By far, the Evol and Paradigm were my favorites. They are built like tanks. I especially liked the tensioned barrels. FX makes fine airguns but what bothered me on them was the airgap between the shroud and...

    CS-3 Safety Valve HELP please

one way of doing it would be to have it at the lowest tension as mentioned by 1900colt and run the compressor with a dead head plug and listen for it as you watch the pressure gauge as to when it stops increasing. Then adjust accordingly. If right from the very start the relief valve doesn’t...

    motivation

I retired two and a half years ago. Bought two fly rods six months before I retired, still have yet to open the boxes. Too many days at the range or pesting at the maple syrup farms. I shoot pellet pistols in the basement and as long as it isn’t too nasty windy I go to my gun club to shoot...

AEAC Video - NEW Accu-Tac Precision Bipods (FACTORY INTERVIEW) BR-4, Hydro Bipod, Electric Bipod - SHOT Show 2025

The electric and hydraulic versions are too cool. Nice job on the video Steve, and keep up the good work Accu-Tac.

I have made a serious mistake, I need advice on how to proceed without anyone getting hurt. seriously.

Having worked on hundreds of scuba regulators in a dive shop, an easy way to relieve the pressure would be to close the tank valve and then slowly unscrew one of the screws pointed at in post #22. There might be one or two ports on the scuba reg that have HP stamped near the port, it stands for...

Tripod for FX Wildcat MK3 BT?

Yes, the latest generation of the tripod will allow the legs to go pretty wide so that it can get quite low to the ground. But for hunting, when sitting from a the tripod can be a pain in the butt. Needless to say you can turn the tripod into a bipod by keeping two of the lakes together, but...

Tripod for FX Wildcat MK3 BT?

I have the shortest monopod and bipod for sitting and the tallest tripod for stand. The tall tripod is short enough in its low position for use with a lawn chair. I use the mono and bipod with a ground seat like turkey hunters use.

Tripod for FX Wildcat MK3 BT?

Got it. If they made a tripod that was easily adjustable up and down I would maybe be interested. When hunting I typically sit and wait. A critter might be in a tree, on the ground or somewhere in between. So very quick adjustability is key for me. With a tripod with clamp or ballhead, if you...
