Good idea! Figuring external water source is best level with YH and items to be filled should be above everything, I'd put water bucket and YH on lowest shelf, fastening coalescing and molecular sieve filters on post towards filling platform on top. Maybe fasten a light plywood cover on top...
Possible those who originally charged it weren't on top of things. I bought two airguns, one was a promotional loaner, another a customer return, both were sold as brand new, with no mention of previous activities. Problems led to discovery of past lives. WM
In this hobby using something then setting it aside for an extended period can cause problems. Compressed air, without sufficient moisture-removal, is likely to induce corrosion on metal parts. Not sure if Atomic uses fill probe or has an installed male foster fitting, either way, few drops of...
If pump is acting up, clean check valve. Coby, of Topa Manufacturing Company, has Chinese handpump tear-down videos on YouTube that helped me. Might be one-way valve in Atomic is stuck, few drops silicone oil in male foster fitting, or inserted fill probe end, allowed to soak overnight, might...
Look around the Four Uncles handpump box for one of these deadhead test plugs. Insert in female quick-disconnect fitting at end of fill whip (hose) and pump. If handpump fills and holds pressure, problem lies elsewhere. WM
Greetings, Sir, glad you're here. PCPs are amazing, you'll enjoy. To get the basics I'd recommend Matt Dubber's YouTube video series, "Airgun Ballistics, 101." Short, easy to follow, the 9-part series really helped me out. Best of Luck, WM
The "air independence" a compressor provides is something to experience, don't close your mind to the prospect. We'll help with information, just have to ask. Best of Luck, WM
Good News! Likely problem with fill whip/QD fittings that happened to manifest itself with U2. Quick-Disconnect "O" rings tend to shred, before eventually failing, loose section, or loose piece, could have plugged opening. Glad it's resolved, thanks for update. WM
No, U2 uses regular probe, inserted from side, after removing dust plug. Not sure picture is of U2 probe but reflects what I did to use. Corroded or failed one-way valve is also possible, few drops of silicone oil (heavyweight preferred) in end of inserted fill probe overnight might loosen...
Uragan 2 doesn't require a special compressor, likely probe opening not lined up with gun or gun opening plugged. Try to fill Uragan another way, HPA handpump, tank, other compressor, with original and replacement probes, to narrow problem. WM
Like a dummy, removed Yong Heng high-pressure section when psi building times increased, all the while was same problem you described. Picked these up as spares. WM
Heavyweight silicone oil used for treadmill exercise machine maintenance and plumber's silicone grease are ideal for "O" rings, petroleum-based products are not. Silicone isn't best for lubricating where "O" rings aren't involved, so I'd search out YouTube pistol-specific rebuild videos for...
