Most variety of diameters only in .22 - why is that? And why undersized?

Chokes and smaller diameters to resize bring their own issues where there's less issue in 25. Caliber restrictions in countries like south Africa where the biggest salesmen connected to manufacturers live.... Maybe. 22 has been mainstream longer than 25 in the modern market and maybe was...

    Palmetto State Armory??

Dubious URL and dubious email. Scam for sure.

CS4 arrived, my first pcp compressor.

Let it dry out, it's not a huge ordeal. When you use that pump don't run it for super extended periods of time if you can avoid it, don't fill huge bottles in single sittings and you'll really enjoy it. It was my 2nd favorite pump of the 5 I've owned. Have fun!

DNT Zulus 3-12x - Is the BC range really 0.030 and up?

I doubt it, but it can be had directly from him, which is what I do with many apps now that app stores meddle.

DNT Zulus 3-12x - Is the BC range really 0.030 and up?

You can always find strelok and run the ballistics there and build a custom chart for the zulus. I find strelok to have more accurate math anyhow, and it has an easy to use trajectory correction function so I just pass the data on to the dnt app.

Any rebated Boat Tail Slugs shooters out there?

There's some stabilization nuances too. Cast boolits and external ballistics is a whole hobby on its own.

Umarex Lost Zelos O ring battle

Ordering a big metric kit has paid off for me. It's helped my collection of air rifles as well as my air tools at work.

To Strip or Not To Strip

Finishing seems scary, it's not and it is redoable many times before you sand your stock away.

To Strip or Not To Strip

Beech is not the most figured or interesting wood but it's stable. It's easy enough to sand down and toy with different grit finishes to get what you want which makes it an awesome learning tool.

Crosman M1 Carbine BB Guns, Old and New

The plastic stock on the new m1 is surprisingly acceptable. The way it was injection molded makes it look like old bake lite to a degree. The gun is an co2 pig but it's far more accurate and reliable than it should be. I've been shooting it more than my high dollar guns lately.

.30 cal Fx hybrids going crazy…..

Hybrids are a bandaid slug, they have never been top 3 in any of my guns but they're always on the top 5. It sounds like the choke is messing with them, or you need to send them in the low 900s if you can. My Mrod 25 did exactly what your are having issue with. Mines too slow and too much...

To Strip or Not To Strip

The best option I use is unobtainium, I have some old formulation watco oil that's from the 90sand it can really let you fake walnut on other species of wood. 😁

    Exterior cleaning of SCBA?

The typical construction today is the aluminum liner, the structural carbon and it's resin, a protective layer of glass and it's resin, a waist wrap and the a final protective outer coating of resin that can get chipped etc if memory serves. If no strands of any type are compromised there are...

To Strip or Not To Strip

I'm a finish carpenter and have done a ton of beech. European steamed beech usually has a light "pickled" color to it. You can sand it down, wet it and lightly sand to raise the grain to do some tricks with how you see the extremely limited figuring in beech. I typically mist beech with a...

Why do maximum pellet velocities differ between various guns?

Twist, choke, chamber pressure, barrel resonance. That's a very involved question.

    Exterior cleaning of SCBA?

Everything to the right of the buddy bottles got a little up-shine. The small scott scba next to the buddy bottles was retired fire gear and it was HAMMERED so I had to Dr it up to not look like garbage.

    Exterior cleaning of SCBA?

I've done 3 of mine and a carbon gun bottle. I just use some car glazing polish and a wool pad on a car buffer because I have all that stuff for my truck. You can even make deep scratches in the label level of resting shiny to the point you don't see much. The compound I use is for swirl...

FX Tensioned barrel for impact m4?

A spacer collar that uses your shroud to push off the action when the shroud is tightened works nearly as well and keeps stuff hilariously quite. Fair warning, this takes ingenuity or tools. I made a spacer and it was a breeze to find tunes and was precise, then I bought a tensioner and im...
