RTI 🤔 KnockOut Slugs Falling Out Of OEM Magazine?!?

🤔 KnockOut Slugs Falling Out Of OEM Magazine?!? I was shooting .25cal JSB KnockOut slugs from an RTI Prophet 3. The MKII with the flared skirts. But many slugs fell out of my OEM magazine when I simply tilted the gun at a 45⁰ angle upwards.... ▪ Do the KO's just not like the RTI OEM mags...

The .25 caliber ELR Slugs are here!!!

I was thinking the .25cal Altaros Smooth at 49.5gr. ➧ With an RTI RPB barrel (600mm).... I thought they had a twist of 1:20 — or did I get that wrong? Matthias

    What’s your favorite target?

Brian, I hear you!! And I suffer with you!! 😞 Germany is even worse than Denmark. Power limit — without a very expensive, very difficult to obtain license — is 6FPE. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Someone could accuse me I moved from Germany to the more freedom-loving Peru because of those unnecessarily strikt...

My favorite target? That's an easy question! PEST ANIMALS!! Matthias 😆

    Question for everyone.

This coming from a guy like you has a lot of weight, Frank. You must be talking about the Heras in the 4-20x50 SFP (1") variety..... Because the 6-24x56 in either FFP or SFP is a beast: 32.3oz (916gr). I can see that the Heras offers a lot, at a lower price then the Helos 4-20x50 FFP...

The Sightron S8 tops my long list of top scopes..... You are fortunate/blessed to own one. Enjoy!! 😃 Making your own beautiful stock — AND owning an S8? Man, you do give new meaning to our overused expression "fell in the rabbit hole"...!! 😆 Carry on!! 💪🏼 Matthias

Little things can make a big difference

Humbled.AG, if you manufactured the stock, or had it made to your specifications — congrats! Awesome committment! 👏🏼 Great execution!! ⭐️ Do tell: That scope also looks very nice. What is it? Does it focus down to 10y? Matthias

Taipan 25 Caliber Taipan Vet 2 Standard

Maybe I can help with quickly finding scopes with a 10y min. parallax. Over the years I have assembled 3 Scope Specs Tables with hundreds of scopes and their specs listed for easy comparison, incl. price & warranty, weight & length, reticle type, separated by FFP and SFP, MIL or MOA, FoV...

    N/A Zombie setup

Mikey, I wish for you that your treatment will go well and you keep shooting straight! To answer your question: As I am scavenging through the remains of civilization as we knew it — always in search for batteries, canned food, and clean water — I cannot lug around a big PCP. So, I will have...

    Question for everyone.

The correct parallax setting is most important at the highest magnification. So, if a scope has a 15y minimum parallax: to shoot at 10y with 20x magnification, you will have an out-of-focus picture and you will have potential parallax error if your eye is not perfectly centered. However, if...

    Huben GK1 in .22 or .25?

Wow, 29mm is really low! 👍🏼 I have a dot sight with a tube on it, with adjustable turrets (I am such a die-hard dialer....): A Leupold Freedom RDS 1x34. I got it down to 39mm scope height. At my current power of 15FPE (in .22cal), and with a killzone of 1" — I get a PBR of 6.5—35y. With your...

    Question for everyone.

⚠️ Careful with the Discovery scopes.... After directly catering to us airgunners by making most of their scopes with 10y parallax 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼 — since a couple of years most of their newer & nicer scopes do not have 10y parallax anymore, but usually 25y. 😔 They are hiding this fact by not stating...

    Huben GK1 in .22 or .25?

Steve, for your low mounted optics solution — how low did you get it? What number would you punch into a ballistic calculator for "scope height"? Matthias

Tuning Tuning regulator - can you have a reg set too low?

Thank you, that was a very helpful answer! 👍🏼 At the same power level, the larger caliber gives you more shots, and quieter shots. 👍🏼 Matthias

Tuning Tuning regulator - can you have a reg set too low?

Maybe I missed it, sorry if I did: Why do you want to shoot at such a low power, and why do thay with such a (copmaratively) large caliber? I'm not criticizing this at all — I am trying to understand your rationale — and to learn something! Cheers, 😊 Matthias

276 yards with a .20?!?! He he yep!

    Cole, you've done awesome. 👏🏼 276y = 252m! With such a small caliber! Very cool! 😎 Matthias

What’s Applications Do You Use Your Airguns For?

🔘 Hunting down pest animals with .22, .25, and .30cal. Theore kills per hour the better. 🔘 And some game animals, too. Cleaning and preparing them isn't my most favorite activity, though..... 🔘 And simply shooting as far as I can hit stuff is a never ending fascination for me. Don't know...

    Other GK1 vs Leishy 2 250

Yes, GK1, PP700, and — bullpups. For the length of a standard bullpup, 28" (72cm) — at least I get good power and quiet shots without a silencer attached. Matthias
