Mine is the HE507C-GR X2 and it has the slide out battery compartment so this 507 doesn't need to be removed for battery replacement.

I wonder if SWFA finally upgraded the IQ in the new gen. I mounted my decade plus old SWFA 3-15 FFP on a gun I don't shoot much because it's fallen behind other Co's in IQ by quite a bit.

That was just my plenum filling back up, no sound effects. The sound changed as I was going from slo-mo to normal speed. 😃

To my knowledge, based on past purchases from LW USA, they only offer airgun blanks. So you buy a blank and then pay a machinist or make it fit the intended gun.

I don't notice it at all and am also a lefty.

Most of the prarie dog towns are west of the Missouri river and south of I-94 I have never shot prairie dogs in SD so I can't say. The smallest town we shoot at is about 15 acres. The one in the pictures is about 50 acres.

From what I have read the old Tasco Japanese US Govt contract expired several years ago. And as a result build quality has gone down some. Tough to compete in the Arken/Athlon market for a company like SWFA. I dont think I will be spending any money on them right now. Maybe if they shifted...

700mm FX liner and it gets 1050 with CPHP's and 980 or so with JTS 18.1gr Dead Center pellets. 100 Yard ready as well. I have yet to push slugs through it but I think she should do well.
