Might want to check out Pyramyd Air. They have an excellent return policy. I suggest getting it in the Lord's caliber, .22. Many pellet choices and weights than .25.

I have the FX V1 and a Caldwell two post chronograph. The caldwell is a PITA sometimes but it is much more consistent than the FX. Works well to calculate BC. The FX is about the same purchase age and it shows it age. Very finicky and inconsistent results now. Good luck with .177 pellets...
