@DarkMatterZ, the right pellet/pellets? Mine has done consistently well on pests out to 60 yards with CPHPs. Mine also likes Air Arms 16 grain and JSB Exact Jumbo 18s. Out the box, TP on its highest setting I got 22.5 FPE with the CPHPs and 25 FPE with the JSBs…

I was devastating grackles from 50 to 60 yards recently with my .22 Pathfinder XR, sending CPHPs… They have been a great pesting pellet for me and have proved effective over and over again afield.

2 to 4 FPE at POI is plenty for most small critters… Airgunners in the UK kill lots of small game and pest with sub 12 FPE airguns. Here in the good old USA many consider 12 FPE as being low power. Uncountable critters would attest, if they could to the outsized power, of low power airgunning.

When the dairy was active foxes were my friends as I would leave a bounty of rats for them to munch on. Alas those days are gone and now I must, by request target a chicken killing fox… TBD…

With all due respect @PumaCarl, whether 6061 or 7075 the Epic 2 is sweet. Was just checking out their website, it seems to be a very nice addition to the PCP world.
