    Huben GK1 - leveraging the shroud 👍

I must commend Weevil for his efforts. He is on the right track, but the limited space in the shroud available is a substantial issue to create an effective stripper. Adding to that dilemma is the lack of a barrel alignment register with the moderator adapter. To be honest. a completely new...

    🎯 ShootingTargets7.com [All 1/8" AR400 Airgun-Loving Gongs] 🔥 LOUD Hits! 🔥 10% OFF (As Low as $7.18!) 🎯

Mark, Perhaps stating that your targets will not be distorted over time by soft lead pellets, would clear up any doubt that may exist. Unfortunately, this is an issue with many makers of steel targets.

    🎯 ShootingTargets7.com [All 1/8" AR400 Airgun-Loving Gongs] 🔥 LOUD Hits! 🔥 10% OFF (As Low as $7.18!) 🎯

I have never shot at AR400, so I cannot say how durable it is, but I can state that if mild un-heatreated steel is used, it must be at least 4mm thick to withstand .25 pellets at even low velocities to withstand distortion.

1/8" mild steel plates will be destroyed by .25 cal pellets at anything above 600 fps at 25 meters distance. .

Mattias, AliExpress for all parts including the 2mm reflex sight. My glass center to barrel center distance is 29 mm.

    Huben GK1 in .22 or .25?

It is a personal thing. Target acquisition must be fast and instinctive when pesting. .13 inches makes a big difference to me. The beauty of a reflex sight is the ability to still see the target when using hold over, but the correct amount changes rapidly with distance the greater the height...

FX diff press gun and compressor?

HPA is very dangerous! Professional compressors use high quality (read expensive) components. When I configured my Bauer compressor I bought a control switch from a scuba supply house in California and that switch was $175 ands I also bought an adjustable blow off valve from Australia that was...

    Huben GK1 in .22 or .25?

MIchael a reflex sight is the only way to go, but going to the rail adaptor you chose sets the sight height too high above the barrel. This sets up the requirement to hold over the target at close range. I tried several different reflex sights and mounts and I now use a reflex sight that has a...

    DFL Moderator Caliber Sizing

I have stated this before, but I will repeat this fact again. Most commercial moderators have bores much larger than optimum for good noise attenuation. You do not have to take my word on this, just measure them up yourself. I have found that optimum clearance between the exit diameter of the...

    Snowpeak P700 sa

As an owner of two GKi's, I can tell you that they are too powerful for pesting indoors as misses can cause serious infrastructure damage. Whereas the PP700SA is ideal and when pesting having a multi-shot gun is a waste because you only get the first shot.

    Snowpeak PP700 Why ?

Another advantage the PP700SA has is the milled rails on the side of the shroud. I took an inexpensive laser sight and modified it to match the rail with a 60 degree cutter in my milling machine. This allowed the laser to be offset 1/2" left of barrel center. This is very useful for close range...

    Snowpeak P700 sa

I have owned my PP700SA for 4 years now. It has excellent balance and fit. It is very accurate. I have made no adjustments to either the regulator or trigger. It comes off the regulator below 100 bar. When loaded to 220 bar, it will allow 40 shots before reaching the 100 bar pressure. The...

    FX New FX Pistol!

I have one of those, which I really like. It is the PP700SA, but it's only $250. This FX pistol better be a whole lot more to be competitive with the PP700SA.

    N/A Scuba tanks

I use them at the higher pressures. The safety discs do not blow out at my use pressure. I also have an ACECARE 12 liter CF bottle that I use for my 300 bar guns..

    N/A Scuba tanks

Sorry, I have 2 12 liter scuba bottles that I still use to fill my PP700SA pistol. I get 40 shots fill gun fill and I shoot almost every day and a month worth of gun fills from one 12 liter bottle filled to 240 bar.

    Huben GK1 in .22 or .25?

Michael, Since you mentioned steel, I do use pape 10 meter paper targets and my indoor target holder includes a steel catch can. I usually practice at 25 meters distance. In so doing, nothing lighter than 4mm steel plate survives the GK1 using 25.4 gr JSB pellets at 700 FPS

    Huben GK1 in .22 or .25?

Michael, First it is a pistol, not a rifle. Pistols are typically used at short distances. The GK1 is NOT a plinker. It is powerful enough to damage unintended infrastructure. I own a V1 and a V3 in .25 and have hit pigeons at 100 meters. It is also a revolver and its munition retention in the...

    Huben GK1 Perfected (v1 and v3 differences?)

There is nothing wrong with the GK1 as delivered. I have both a V! and a V3. I personally prefer the V1, but I am right handed. Both are perfect as delivered. I have shot more than 10,000 pellets in my V1 and I have not even cleaned it. I hold a 1" group all day every day at 25 meters and when I...
