I assume that before you do that, you will let the air out of the tube completely in case it does discharge. Self evident that as long as a gun can be active, one should probably not point it in any direction at anything valuable - including one's hand. Or you can just wedge your tool somewhere...

Question. Perhaps I'm not doing the google search correctly but I am having trouble finding how what are the differences between the V2 versus the V1 or V3. I'd be grateful if someone can point me to the differences. And whether the differences are pros or cons. Thanks.

UPDATE: I heard directly from DNT. Range is from .001 onwards so we are good. The two sites I read were all for arrows so perhaps that is why.
