This is a video on a Marauder de-pinger, same concept different gun. you can make the de-pinger from rubber hose, it just needs to fit the inside of the air tube, you can slice the hose to fit.

I use them a lot for Pneumatic parts, they're located near LA, they ship very fast too...

it doesn't take much to warp a barrel, you would think it's straight and strong, but just a barrel touching something can cause accuracy issues, that's what happened with the Benjamin Marauder, if the barrel touched the barrel ring, it would throw off the accuracy, if you are determined to use...

you can make a de-pinger with a piece of foam rubber, a bristle brush or even a piece of rubber hose that fits somewhat snug inside the air tube about halfway inside, it only needs to about 1-2 inches long.

sound is not likely coming from the solid areas of the barrel, all the sound would be coming from the open ends of the barrel and the mechanical parts in the mechanism of the hammer and Poppet valve, not much you can do about the hammer and Poppet, the Barrel can be moderated, some time you...

if it's the same as an AV Avenger fill port then here are some pictures the Fosters is not a valve type, just straight through with filter, the valve is a ball bearing on an O-ring with a spring in the cap, note the O-ring is 7.5mm OD 2.5mm ID 2.2mm CS I think any size close will work fine.

I've used shrink tube on a air stripper and it worked well to silence the loud bark of a Walther 1250 Dominator PCP, but the Air stripper had vent holes, not solid like a barrel, I don't think shrink tube will do any sound moderation directly on a Barrel, it might make the barrel inaccurate due...

Also did some plinking in the Backyard with the HW100's, dialed in the .20 cal with the Pard NV800 scope and shooting ½" Vines off the trees at 65 yards with the HW100BP .22 cal with the Arken Zulus scope, these are just so accurate it's kinda boring.... :eek:

wound up modifying the 3D printed Barrel band for the Avenger, cut the top off to make it a free floating barrel, much better accuracy now... (y);) now it's just a Bottle band with Picatinny rail for Bipod

you should be good, mine is about the same, been fine and shoots great.

Got the Primo's Trigger stick with a cheap clamp from Amazon, it works good and Budget friendly.

You never know when a few Buddies come over and need something to shoot...... :cool:

I don't have that many.... only about 16 air guns, some have been sitting for awhile, some get used all the time, I try to rotate them just to make sure they still work ok, but I do have my favorites..... I don't think I will purchase any more, but you never know..... something pops up for sale...

Ammo is cheaper and I can shoot it in my backyard, very accurate, less cleaning, Quiet..... Critters don't even know what hit them...... :giggle:

Made a new Barrel band for the Avenger on the 3D printer, much better than the old one, set better in-fill, 50% and increased PLA temp to 210° c, took 23 hrs, but the results are much better.
