    INTRODUCING THE NEW FX LEOPARD

FPE is based on velocity and mass. Heavy slugs in the high 9 hundreds will produce "high power"

Looks like the Caldwell Velociradar is available to ship just now

Do you know what caliber pellets it wouldn't pick up?

Why some prefer high power .22 over .30 vice versa

Hi, in terms of BC BC ~ Mass * ff/ (cal)^2 BC decrease with the square of the caliber. If you want the same BC as th 38gr NSA 22cal slugs (0.13) you need to use the 65.5gr 30cal slugs or 1.72 times the mass. Higher BC reduces wind drift and drop making it easier to shoot accurately at longer...

    Introducing the Daystate Black Wolf!

There some posts on the work required to get the Ghost trigger below 16oz. I think Franklink was a key contributer on those. It looks like a serious overhaul. The Black Wolf has potential cost issue IMHO.

    Introducing the Daystate Black Wolf!

@Newobby Your correct, it doesn't compute. The 1800 price is in Pounds Sterling. Covert to US dollars and you get $2200.

    Introducing the Daystate Black Wolf!

Daystate imports so many components from other countries in Europe that Brexit has to hurt profits. Then add the high inflation GB experienced and prices have to go up. The Black Wolf looks nice, but you're effectively buying a version of the BRK ghost. I hope this work out for Daystate.

The ZAN Projectiles .22 ELR are now available !!!

Thank you for your reply. I recognize your experience and expertise in PRS. If PRS allows multiple calibers in Airgun then scaling the max weight by caliber would keep each competitive, at least for external ballistics. For example, an 40gr limit in 22 cal equates to 52gr in 25...

Makes sense if you're filling a pistol or gun with a small tube capacity, but expensive.

Tuning Fx Crown: Looking for the "lost Knee"

IMHO, the chart turned out to be plotted backwards and it was reasonable to ask for clarification since that wasn't included initially. Not to say you're wrong...

Tuning Fx Crown: Looking for the "lost Knee"

@nervoustrig, Increasing the hammer wheel only decreases the velocity. Isn't the hammer completely past the peak and decreasing baseline hammer spring tension would raise the velocity at the lower settings ( the peak is off the chart too the left for the 95bar reg setting)? Thanks.

FX 1st time shooting the new Panthera 700

Thanks! I am at 3.3 with the reg at 120bar. The higher reg pressure reduced the velocity SD (standard deviation). AEA 66gr 30cal pellets may reduce the SD further. That will have to wait for the weather to improve to test that.

FX 1st time shooting the new Panthera 700

Nice! What pressure is the reg set too? I am running AEA 50.5gr pellets at 945fps with my reg set to 120bar.
