Dial the 18s down to 880 and see if poi stabilizes. Then you know equipment is fine and you just need to perfect tune and find a projectile that works at that tune.

That tune-in-a-tube stuff did make a measurable difference in the experience, it’s fine for plinking and a great loaner.

Bear with me as I own neither but try to stay educated. I think anything FX with the new dynamic block is probably “newer tech” at least imo, the M4 is same projectile propulsion tech as previous with some gadgets and small peripheral updates thrown on, again imo.

A chrony will likely be necessary for figuring out an unregulated gun which I believe this is. For example IIRC my Flashpup was tuned to shoot at about 25fpe between 150-110 bar for three mags with about 25 fps spread which was all I needed for that use case. The Dr above is a voice to listen to.

Exact opposite in relation to cars, look at percentage of value lost vs purchase price. If given for free I’m taking the M5, if buying with a concern for resale Corolla 10 out of 7 days a week. If buying for enjoyment likely not buying a Corolla.

This seems to be pretty true when you dig through the chatter and claims by both manufacturers and users. It can be done but you’ve got some specialized gear or it’s almost wide open throttle to get there.

Good point MrP. I generally prefer traditional rifle style, have a Crown mk2 500mm that is a great size. Wanting to try something more powerful to reach out further. Paper puncher. Multi-shot preferred, no semi. I am curious if people are actually getting around 60fpe out of some of these...
