    Tequila Gun PCP

the Tanto should do the trick, it's light enough and really tames the bark, enough so I can shoot in my back yard and not have the local LEOS roll up in their armor. It does make it long but, oh well. Try each one and see what works.

FX Maverick Problem adjust hammer spring

Short answer is, your lack of tune sucks, not to be mean but...we've all been there. First drop your reg pressure down to 110, maybe lower, Screw in your Macro adjuster screw, all the way then back it out 2 turns, turn the dial to #7 and see what it does for 3 shots, drop it down to say #5 it...

FX Maverick Problem adjust hammer spring

The regs have a brass bit and another 'hopefully' brass bit with a Delron insert, going against the Delron will put a divot in it. WHICH it gets just in normal usage. Official kicker, some of the brass/delron bits had the delron too long, almost impossible to get enough pressure out of the...

FX Maverick Problem adjust hammer spring

5 turns is 5mm that's a touch much IMHO. The overall measurement only needs to be about 18-19mm, at 21.5 or so it'll mess up the trigger, as it it won't reset.

In all honesty, they are somewhat pointless out to 100, it's more the challenge of getting them to work well. Now if it's windy they are nice to have, that and a lot of luck.

Swapping out the barrel leads to other things, mostly not good unless you get really lucky the first go round. Your gun MIGHT like the 22gr RMR slugs, they are the ones who make the FX slugs, but at that short range it's not worth it.

Ahhhhh, I was wondering how you got a FX that actually worked out of the box, now I know. I've got 2 Mavericks, one is my messing around gun, the other a slightly modified .25 600mm barrel.

You might wish to try some AEA's in it, I and a few others have found they are a touch more accurate. I doubt you'll be shooting them at 100yards so no need to get carried away with slugs. Which is another deep branch of the Rabbit Hole®, which I'm welcoming you to. Hey people he likes to...

Fishing for compressor advice / knowledge

Don't assume you'd hear the leak, it took me a while to find mine on my 032. I'd think I heard it when running then nothing. It was the 0-ring on the back side of the right hand filter tower.

The Buzzards/Vultures have to eat, I consider it a civic duty. There is a pair of them in the area, they hear the dinner bell.

When I was using my Savage A17, they didn't have the guts to run away. One I barely nicked at 100 yards in the back of the neck, it was DRT from the shockwave.

I did my research when I started them and went with the grabber for the disease reason. Ask for and you shall receive....Pete my faithful retriever, hard to keep trained but he's a good guy.

That is after we removed the body armor, two 26 gr slugs with a muzzle velocity of 940 and it still managed to move 15'. The slugs let you know it's been smacked, but they keep going. According to Strelok Pro it's 45# smacking them at that distance. And NO I'm not playing with head shots, not...

    Largest drop with a Notos

I've tried to find the location of their lungs, I'm spending a fortune getting rid of the critters here, time to get a touch more violent. BUT I too am very leery of them spraying. If it wasn't for my dog I mostly wouldn't care.

Went to my permission today at 0900 with my faithful retriever Pete, Phil met us there. Cool/cold overcast with the sun TRYING to peek through. Got sighted in at 75 yards, for a change everything lined up. Saw one at 110 yards but wasn't a safe shot, people working on the road. Saw one...

    Ground squirrel infestation!

...the buzzards. Here is a pic of the ONE we found today, darn thing was trying cram its way into a very small burrow after being shot, twice 50yards* with my Tequila .22, off hand**** ****** some of the above addition is a flat out lie, some is the truth. I actually got it at 50 yards...

    Ground squirrel infestation!

That is a good idea, they are disease carrying vermin. I'm going out to my permission but it's absolutely nothing like Blue Dog's, the best I ever did was 18, of course it's only a few acres. Somewhere on the Air Tanks Plus website they have a absolutely great ground squirrel setup a nice...

    100 yards and beyond…?

I didn't have a choice, ok I did have a choice, stop splatting ground squirrels or spend a modest fortune on airguns. Darn canine on premises didn't like the bang from my A17. Then I had to learn to shoot 50 yards for MOS (Minute of Squirrel) then out to 125 yards, again zero choice, wide open...

FX FX Maverick Compact .30 Cal - First shots review

You 'MAY' have to give them a bit of a LIGHT sanding but, they do wear in after a few goes, so patience. Forgot to mention I use silicon 0-rings on the FX magazines with a touch of superglue.
