N/A Which of your airguns would you choose for a 60yd target for only one shot?

I have thought about getting rid of my Evol paradigm. It's kinda big and bulky for my wants. But I have grabbed it either 4 or 5 times this year when critters attempted to get our chickens. Shots between 60 - 80 every shot connected. I have confidence in my Taipan but the scope is better on the...

Taipan What would you do with this Taipan cheekpiece and scope ring combination?

I copied Scott I used grip tape on the cheek piece and on the bottom so I don’t worry what I rest it on. I do have a smaller scope on it now

Daystate ֍ Huntsman Revere —vs.— ֍ Wolverine R

I tried posting this earlier. But my post got mingled with another post. Odd. I have a Huntsman non reg 177 and a wolverine R 177 Both are very comparable in accuracy. The Wolverine gets a lot of shots. I had a hard time making it thru a FT corse without filling the Huntsman. I can shoot the...

    Diy nockdown targets

Those are a pretty cool design. It shows you can make targets without access to a plasma cutter and welder. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Other Just how much must I pay for "Accuracy" in a PCP gun?

I haven't read each post closely just skimmed thru. Something I will add is. What do you want the gun for? You can have a gun that shoots a pellet that is maybe less than 600 fps that can shot lights out at 30 yards punching paper. like my P Rod But that gun may be useless for shooting a...

What kind of solvent should be used to clean a air rifle?

I had a bottle of Ballistol that had a bad cap. Stored inside 70-75 degree constant. After a short while the liquid crystallized. I have worked maintaining equipment for the past 45 years. I have seen lots of oils get hard. But never this fast. I no longer use Ballistol. Watch out with Kroil it...

    Why would you sell?

Something I have been guilty of several times is keeping something till the value goes way down. It would make more since for me to sell things I dont use. But I never learn.

American Air Arms AAA Evol question

about how many shots do you get? I am planning on a 22 and would desire to shoot 18 grain JSB’s. Most shots under 60 with occasional out to 100

American Air Arms AAA Evol question

I am really just wondering if anyone has heard that some of the Evols specifically the 15" is not going to be made. Or if the replacements may be coming out soon

American Air Arms AAA Evol question

For my use. I don't need more power or for an air rifle to be more tunable. With each of my airguns I have found a pellet that works for that particular guns use. A few years ago I went to buy a 15" Evol AOA didnt have one and I came home with a paradigm. Nice gun but I dont shoot it like I...

American Air Arms AAA Evol question

I have been checking AOA for anew 15" Evol. until recently they would take a deposit on one. But that option has been removed. Are they going to drop the 15"? Anyone in the know have an idea? I have emailed Tom but never heard back. I may need to set my eyes on another or look used. thanks

    Shimming the scope

Way back when before adjustable rings, I used a business card. They are 10 thousands. This was a common practice around the small bore silhouette crowd. I never have even marked a scope. But I never used anything thicker. I know some guys used a shim made from a plastic milk jug or an aluminum...

    N/A PCP With Solid Barrel

A very common way for a hunter to transport a firearm is barrel down in a vehicle leaning buttock leaning against a seat. Some guys use a case and some dont. Im not advocating this carry just asking about pcp builds that can be used in a working environment.

    N/A PCP With Solid Barrel

Thanks for these replies. One of the posts above made me realize I should have asked differently. The Evol has a screwed in tensioned barrel. From the video of it getting thrown drug and abused we know that one survived. But really you can't find it on the market and it may never be available...

    N/A PCP With Solid Barrel

I have a buddy that has gotten into airguns. He is a hunter and will continue to lean his pcp barrel on things. Not many PCP's will keep point of impact. I know in the past you could get a Evol, the original Taipan seems solid. I dont know about the Taipan 2. Are there any currently available...

N/A Whats your most consistently accurate airgun?

This was a great post. I would like to see a post of this type of "available" rifles. I shoot my Taipan the most, my Paradigm may be more accurate but I dont shoot it much. I bought it to shoot long range FT which I never did and probably never will. It's a big ol pig as far as a pesting gun so...
