I picked up a cheap no-name compressor from amazon last may for $168. Its works really well and looks well made. The power supply went out in it recently but that was an easy fix as those power supplies are sold on amazon as well. I looked at other pumps to see what's out there and it looks...
they measure 177 and are actually 12gr. its been so long since i looked at the package i forgot what i had! I do run those with the factory barrel and they were a no-go.
1:16 barrel on a gen 1 avenger? That doesnt sound right. I would guess more around 1:24? I'll put the caliper on the slugs i have from Dale to see what they are. It was a sample pack iirc.
I have never been able to find what the factory barrel twist rate is. Do you have a confirmed source on the twist rate? I have tried Dales's 177 slugs. I have some 13gr ones left over im going to try in the FX liner. I have also tried some griffins, nothing over 10ish grans worked. The only slug...
I have an Avenger in .177 I haven’t shot in a while. I had an idea a while back to rebarrel it with something that can shoot heavier ammo. The gun can make so much power and it all gets wasted since the factory barrel can only stabilize nothing heavier than 10 grains. Well, it has a 700mm FX...
Initially I had custom made .172 ammo made by Dale. But he sold his dies so we were resizing 177 ammo down to 172. It was working but we ran into the aforementioned barrel issues.
@Sicumj Put the FX liner in my avenger. Haven't shot it at distance yet but i did get a chrono reading. I installed a hammer spring for a .22/.25 avenger in my gun and im pushing these 15gr NSA's at 1000fps making 33ftlbs. With the standard 177 spring, it was 950fps for 30ftlbs. I was shocked...
Sadly, the 30 cal bullpup is a different gun and this chassis wont fit. I probably should have gotten one of those since I think they are more popular. I do have a chassis for the non-bullpup 22 through 30 cal.
In my experience, mounting a moderator to the shroud always creates opportunity for baffle strikes. With the way how the actual barrel is so much shorter than the shroud and how the shroud may not be totally concentric with the barrel, you can see how this is not an optimal setup for a...
I was given a palmer cap-chur tranquilizer dart pistol that was marked as being owned by the Brookfield zoo in Chicago before I was ever into airguns and still very young. The gun cocked by pulling directly on a knob that was the striker. The design was quite poor and the knob pulled off. With...
If the reviewers don't tell you how they got the gun or they say it was sent to them, its most likely a paid review. As far as the guns go, i like the semi-auto ones. The trigger out of the box is heavy, but they can be cleaned up.
