I have the vixen in .177 and really like it the two negatives have been the buttstock you will have to find an alternative and it's not as quiet as it looks. It's not loud just has a sharp snappy report I am used to Taipan veteran and I like quiet quiet hushing the Vixen to my liking required...

That 887 looks like a great choice. It has a Lothar Walther barrel that is a good thing co2 easy looks cool and some good write-ups on that model . Nice start.
