I in past would run my ED gun R5 at 550 fps. When I would pop squirrel with it. I would just slam em and scoot them. I shot a starling and it was effective. Think like killing with a brick.

Never had a pellet expand when in the correct direction, but backward oh boy! Also don’t recommend.

I’m currently trying to decide on a small backpacable pcp for traveling and pesting. I was looking at the compact using the bottle drop adapter for putting a 300 cc up front below the rail and plugging the back to run as a pistol. 🤔

For giggles today I lowered my RTI p1 to about 630 fps with the 25g jsbs. I was able to smack beer bottle tops easy. Now I’m going to do some serious pondering of the shorty b… that would be good fun popping mice and pests in my strawberry patch. At 60yd forgot to say distance.

I’ve ran my .25 at 15-20 fpe at times even 12. Shooting rats and mice makes a good pop.

Having .22, .25, and .30 I have no real need for the .25. I have one and I like the gun but.. To me the .25 in air gun land is the 40sw of pew pew land. If I want cheap plinking I’ll grab the .22 if I want to hammer something I’ll grab the .30. However if I was starting all over and sold off...

Every thing I’ve read and watched said the mag isnt removable.

My only hang up is I can’t remove the mag. But can one rotate the cylinder and leave it on an empty like a single action revolver?
