Overwhelmed with life at present and just don't have the time to enjoy this Cometa Fenix 400 USC springer in .22. It has quite a lovely walnut stock and comes with the UTG 3-12X one-inch Bugbuster scope with mildot reticle. All in excellent condition. I have only plinked with the rifle a few...
Glad I found this thread. Jamie, we Yanks cringe at the air gun power limitations you live with (unless you want to use up a space on your FAC), but where else in the world can you get good airgun advice over a pint at the local pub? May there always be an England!
Thought I had posted on the Webley and penetration. Found the post. https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/does-the-webley-pack-enough-punch.1288244/#post-1474325
I shouldn't have mentioned one of the purposes I had in mind. I am still wondering if the power level can be stepped up in the Webley -- or any CO2 pistol.
Wondering if there are reasonably simple mods that might deliver another 50-100 fps to the big Webley break-open CO2 revolvers. I'd like a bit more punch as the rattlesnakes here get pretty large.
Always love these scope threads. I am always looking for suggestions for springer-rated scopes that don't cost too much, don't weight too much, have a forgiving eyebox and are versatile enough for hunting, target and FT.
Shorts and T-shirt weather is coming to an end here in the northern Chihuahuan desert of southern New Mexico. This is looking interesting. Now to find a springer to shoot.
