Autostops can be sketchy... They tend to allow folks leave them unattended. They are mechanical and can fail like anything else. Best is to just never leave any compressor run without keeping a close eye on it. Something else about autostop... I have read that once the target pressure is reached...

What gun is it? It may have a degas screw. If not you could slowly un screw the gauge. When you hear air escaping stop and let it bleed down to a safe level.

I agree with the list above. I would also add... Research what you will need to reseal the guns when problems arise because they will. Stock up on those seals/kits before they go obsolete. Grab some of the proper lubes while you're at it. If you go with a compressor do the same for that as well...

Any of my pcp guns shooting 20ish fpe. Providing the were pre sighted in for that distance. Shot placement would be key. Preferably the head shot.

Well, fortunately we don't see many come in and ask the question so simply and vague. Most give a little info at least. Most also leave important info out.

IMO... anyone that comes in and asks what ag they should by without any further criteria is not likely to listen to much advice anyways.

The DLX software on the tablet reads them out as well. But like you said... the PC is cumbersome.

Thanks again... I have the ProChrono DLX with BT on a tripod. I run it to my tablet and use TriggerTreat's spreadsheet. I was just considering a backup plan.
