    Beeman I couldn't resist 🤪(Update it's finally here)

Chuck ,you are in the sweet zone for the caliber stroke ratio combo of the Hw80/R1. 14 to 15. Lbs. The kit is doing exactly what it’s designed for. Enjoy it as sighted at 30 yards it will be good to 60 with little to no holdover. The extra 4 ft lbs makes no difference down range Accuracy and...

To Strip or Not To Strip

I did a pine wood derby car once and stayed in a Holliday Inn last night 😉

To Strip or Not To Strip

Nothing gets a thread derailed faster than finishing a gunstock or is a R7 enough power to hunt with. 🍿

    N/A Break barrel identification please

HATSAN MADE Winchester 800 or 1000. They are 27 mm tubed guns with AWFUL TRIGGERS. IT WAS Hatsans early foray into air rifles.

    HW/Weihrauch Custom stocks

He realized , THERE IS NO MONEY IN $450 Airgun stocks. Firearms is were he went. They pay.

    HW/Weihrauch Custom stocks

If it’s coming to the USA ,its illegal to import into the country. Indonesia does not have the laws fore CITES. Solo Craft does nice work ..

There are lighter pellets than 44.75gn !

So your saying you generating 55 ft lbs with 37 grain pellets. 🤔 I’d have to see that to confirm it.

More. , Tommy’s are over achievers but you do pay for that heavy piston and long stroke with a jolt , it’s dead blow but they recoil. My Hw 80/R1 have very little at 20 ft lbs. I’ve got a 118 mm 30 mm tube gun with a Rekord trigger or CD , ROUGHED UP TO I swore I would not do another big gun...

    Beeman I couldn't resist 🤪(Update it's finally here)

That’s gota be a nice shot cycle. I love the dead thump ,with little to no recoil. I’m building a highly modded R1 now that’s gonna be a 90 mm stroke vrs 80 factory and it’s gonna be .25 cal. Full Monty custom piston build and port work as well as back block work to get the needed clearance and...

    Tuning Thrust bearing

as you stated. NO MATER WHAT YOU DO THE SPRING IS GONNA TWIST. .. The spring is 25% of the total tune in a build. Kit dropping will tame a factory gun but it’s gonna twist. Just more controlled. The back pressure of the piston and the seal as well as port size can control the rate of it...

Let’s hope for the best but E pray , the postal service , any word of GUN .. SOME WOKE POSTAL WORKER CAN DECIDE TO PLAY GOD. save the world.

    Tuning Thrust bearing

Kits are the beginning of the tune. Not every gun responds to the kit the same. That’s where magic happens. Kit dropping can help but it’s 50% of the total output and performance.

    Tuning Thrust bearing

oh The Lonngbow. what caliber ? Do not use a soft seal. Big parachutes will kill that gun. Macarri seals are WAY TIGHT AND TO SOFT. Not that I know , Ive got three on hand and have owned several. They can be magic at 12 ft lbs with a piston adjustment that was implemented by V-Mach...

    Tuning Thrust bearing

As I STATED. SPRING CONTROL IS MORE IMPORTANT than how fast it rotates. Try a fast twist spring on a 30 ft lb springer and see your dentist 🦷 soon.

    Tuning Thrust bearing

Loose seals will eventually fail.. they will allow piston can’t during cocking. If it easily rotates on the nipple it’s gonna fail or gall the edge of the front piston. The piston is under a bit ALOT , OF TOURQUE AT FIRST BREAK AND WANTS TO DIG DOWNWARD , ALOOSE NIPPLE WILL ALOW MICRO...

    Tuning Thrust bearing

It’s been done tested and a bad idea. The will come apart … properly made top hats are gonna do as well as you need. Unwinding the spring faster isn’t beneficial. . Controlling the rate it does is far more important. Saying something works on a 12 ft lb gun isn’t the same as a 20+ ft lb...
