Hatsan Doubts on the Hatsan Velox, Anyone have chrony the .177?

I have a lot of fun with my Velox in .22 Always run it with an external regulator and remote line set to 180Bar Otherwise you will need to refill it after teo magazines, and you shoot a magazine empty in a few seconds. Remote line is the way to go, no problems with speed differences.

    Hatsan Hatsan Fitting Threads

The gauge on my Vectis has M10X1 tread. I think that the gauge and fillport on the Velox are the same.

Other Considering getting a hatsan velox

I know I'm reviving an older thread, but did you end up getting a Velox? I'm thinking about getting one, but I've been skeptical of Hatsan in general from some reviews, not just the Velox. I could be way off as I've never owned a Hatsan. I also love my Notos and looking at a Zelos too. I too...

Hatsan One Week with the Hatsan Velox .22

Hello from Germany, I have a Velox in Cal .22. I have an important question about it. If I load the magazine with 12 shots but only fire 8 shots, then the gun is pre-cocked. It is only after the 12th shot that it is no longer pre-cocked. What can I do to relax it so that the mainspring is not...

    Hatsan blitz

...a LCS 19 or Western sidewinder, or Western mordax.. but it's not likely that I could.. everything is so much money.. for what it is the hatsan velox is decent but it's only because the only competition would be the huben GK1 and that's not even a comparison.. like pennies to gold dollars...

Hatsan One Week with the Hatsan Velox .22

I have used my Hatsan Velox for a week now and have the following impression: Summarized, it is a good buy for what is can do. I have put around 1000 CPHPs downrange without one malfunction. This includes at least 200 pellets fired as fast as I could pull the trigger. I put a Donny FL Tanto on...

Hatsan This could be one of the best $400 PCP pistols?

that was a good honest review..I got the velox I think second batch, almost didn't because of the reviews that were available, however those that were having trouble with them were in 25 caliber and they were right off the start using extra heavy pellets.. mine shoots jsb 18 grain and crossman...

Hatsan One Week with the Hatsan Velox .22

Any advise on the caliber to choose for Velox? I see only 22 here tested if I’m not mistaken and I tend to think 22 would be the best. Opinions about .177 and .25 if anyone tried?

Hatsan One Week with the Hatsan Velox .22

I bought the one on ebay to have two tanks filled, only problem is it takes 10 minutes to unthread/re-thread the tanks. I saw a picture on youtube where I guy had an adapter and BOTH tanks feeding the velox at once. I wrote in the comments "where can I get one" and there was never a reply.

Hatsan One Week with the Hatsan Velox .22

I have a Velox for a couple weeks now. I have also had zero issues with jamming except once when I tried H&N wadcutters. I own 2 other hatsan guns and in my opinion the machining on the Velox is better than the others. That said I did have a little rust in the barrel when I got it. ☹️ I put the...

Hatsan This could be one of the best $400 PCP pistols?

The Velox is indeed a fun pistol. I shoot it always on a remote line, set at 180Bar. Removed the piston and rod, shoots even better and still cycles between 210 and 130Bar. Did made a new Piccatinny rail on it so I can put a reddot on it. And a Weihrauch silencer.

HW/Weihrauch In the eye of the beholder

myself I was target shooting this evening with my cut down notos and hatsan velox..I was missing the 30 yard target and got frustrated so I figured if I was missing you can't get worse than that..3" spinners.. so I switched to the 50 yards one I normally use for the rifle and I started regularly...

Hatsan This could be one of the best $400 PCP pistols?

I find it impossible to remove a full tank, did it once and have no intention of putting it back on. going on is doable, but to fill one and then remove it is alot. I assume there must be a probe of some sort to fill one off the pistol? that would be okay.

    Other PCP pistols

...to the pp750 after removing the moderator and shorten the barrel and installed a moderator in the shroud.. it's a ok gun..I don't have funds for the huben.. but I also have a hatsan velox and well it's open fiber sights are really good and it's the most compact.. semi auto and works well. Evanix Evanix Viper X -Besides Reviewers, Who’s Shooting One?

...doesn't stop me from sending empty air bursts down range. I'm sure that there are very good functioning examples of contained rotary mags out there. The Velox seems to get OK reviews. Was also serious about the Manul & RPA. Semi PCP pistols are a bit of a frontier. Not alot of noise out there.
