Thanks for the suggestion... I'm very nervous about any lubricant that has any possibility of combustion.... probably not an issue with a PCP really using air, as it does not develop the temperature to detonate anything as with a springer. I assume that a silicon based grease is best. 

I've had nothing but trouble filling my Stormrider. Second fill, the probe O-rings apparently didn't hold (hand pump). So tiny that it is nearly impossible to see damage. Carefully chamfered the port with a deburring tool, and used fine emery to polish, cleaning it carefully afterward. ...
