eBay restrictions on California buyers - I’ve had enough!

Please stop making silly posts about apocryphal laws. If you’re not sure, it takes no more than 30 seconds to determine the validity of such a statement. Search engines are wonderful inventions that will quickly and easily provide you with accurate information so that you don’t have to post...

    HW/Weihrauch New HW30 Jr.

The stock and the front sight are both hideous. I think it looks like a malformed monstrosity.

UTAH AIRGUNS NOW CHARGING SALES TAX?

You can thank the retailer Wayfair and the Supreme Court for that. Companies have to charge sales tax for whatever state a buyer resides in after a certain threshold has been reached. It doesn’t seem to be that big of a deal until you’re looking at a $2000 item, then, in the case of...

Daystate If you had the bucks for a daystate?

But here’s the thing, the first amendment does not apply to private entities. Speak your mind in public all you want, or create your own forum with its own rules, but when you signed up for this site you agreed to abide by the rules that Airgun Nation has set forth.

    Filling PCP tanks locally

The whole “have your local firehouse fill your tanks” thing is a bunch of nonsense. There may be a few places in rural areas, or maybe a fire department made up of volunteers that will do it, but otherwise, it’s going to be way too much of a liability issue.

    Diana Diana 30 won't cock.

Your barrels are almost certainly clogged with the remnants of the original synthetic seals that have deteriorated over time. Your best bet is to take them apart and replace the seals.

    Diana 6M Barrel Shroud

I think the solution lies in 3D printing. I don’t mean the type with poor resolution and noticeable layer lines, I’m talking about very fine prints that exhibit very little layering, if any. Someone someday will create a file with all the dimensions from one of the 6M shrouds or the plastic...

    Airgun Moderators.....What’s the Legal Issues??

This is not the first time I’ve seen a response like this. And in all cases it’s them causing the problem, not us. I certainly appreciate the respectful tone of your message, but why can’t you give others the same credit you give yourself? All those other people moved for the same reason you...

    Airgun Moderators.....What’s the Legal Issues??

This is just so much BS. Here we go again with the ridiculous notion that those who flee states to get away from tyrannical state rule are the same ones voting to support that which they left. The vast majority of the people leaving those states are very conservative and want less, not more...

    Used Lead.

I take the used pellets and cast them into projectiles for black powder firearms. The lead is soft and fills out the molds very well. I guarantee that anyone you know who casts bullets will be pleased to take that scrap lead off your hands.

Let’s see those light weight Carry Airguns (Woods Walkers)

I envy you that you can walk for an hour carrying an airgun without having to worry about being killed by overly enthusiastic law enforcement agencies. Were I to wander about the hills local to where I live in Southern California, I’d probably end up as a story on the evening news.

    inletting black

Presuming that what I’m inletting for is metallic, I have used the soot from a candle flame with great success. Hold the item just into the flame and it will be covered with soot. Repeat as necessary.

Diana Let's see your Giss guns.

I don’t want to sound like a know it all, and I hope I don‘t come across as such, but I’m pretty sure that what’s numbered 5 and referenced as the red bumper on the face of the rear piston is mislabeled. In fact, the rear piston doesn’t project out that far because of the spacer placed at the...

Beeman Repair video for Diana 6 recoilless air pistol

I'm with you. The use of those pliers did nothing but show me that the guy working on that gun was a ham-handed hack. There's no need to bugger up those caps with such brute force methods. One of the first things I look for when examining one of the Diana Giss pistols is whether or not the...

American Air Arms American air arms .22 hps

I have one and shoot 25.4 grain pellets almost exclusively. The .22 pellets work pretty well for me at 50 meters, though they do seem to be buffeted about by the wind if I try to shoot much farther than that. But part of it is that I simply haven’t tried very hard at greater distances.

    Hello from highly restricted California!

I wish you'd stop promoting this nonsense. As bad as California is regarding firearms laws, there has never been anywhere within the state that has demanded that a certain type of firearm be turned in within 30 days. It simply isn't true. It's entirely possible that you may have misread a...
