Sportsman is 100% factory built guns without limit to cost. Factory class is for inexpensive rimfire guns. My Annie could not compete in Pro class. And the inexpensive factory rimfires have factory class to compete in.

Even with the rule change I decided it was not fair to shoot it in Sportsman Class. I will shoot my Annie with the other rimfires in that class.

Today we had 5 shooters show up for fairly mild conditions.

Since the rule was not done prior to the start of the season and I was not given the opportunity to shoot my first match as Sportsman, I am going to consider it retroactive to April 1.

“factory configured” if I understand you correctly would mean I could shoot my Thomas Slug gun in Sportsman Class. I bought it the way I shoot it and that is the way Thomas sold it and I have not modified it. I like it the way it is right now.

Today was first match of the new “Summer” season. We had a great turnout of 9 shooters with some new faces. Conditions were a little switchy, but if careful could get some good scores.

It means 100% factory built rifle. Every component has to be manufactured by the factory selling it. Similar to the new Factory class, but price has no limit.

I agree with calendar year, but I would since I am in California and we can have more matches. It is easier to drop off a low match when you shoot a lot. The cold weather folks did not think it was fair that we shoot all year. To me allowing 3 matches per venue was enough of a change. But...

Today, for a Friday had a nice turnout of 6 shooters. Wind only made it a little difficult on the 2nd target. See revised result as I was told Phil had an aftermarket barrel requiring he be moved to pro class.

We had 5 shooters show up for our Friday N50 match. It was very cold, windy and switchy.

It was a little pointed 1/4 x 20 screw that stuck out the bottom of the plate that you could turn by grabbing it with pliers.

Today we had our 2nd match of the new year. A very cold morning, I know nothing like what the east coast guys are having. Was supposed to be great conditions, but they were very strange. We all had to work for our scores.

We had our first N50 match of the year on Friday, January 3rd. For a weekday match had a decent turnout of 7 shooters. Wind was almost non-existent, but it rained the whole time soaking our targets and wind flags. Still trying to get more shooters to go with airguns.

We have a 100 yard range, but we do not shoot any organized 100 yard competition at this point.
