Well yesterday I shot my new to me Diana 52 .177 and maGamo Swarm Magnum Gen 2 .22 and a couple pcps. 😁. Kinda funny because I kept trying to break the barrel on the Diana. Was strange getting used to

So what's the consensus are one piece scope mounts better then traditional two rings mounts on springers and gas rams?

Thanks for the advice. I tried using the scope because I only paid $20 for it new. If it's anything like my CVLife scopes it should hold up. Here's a photo and you can see the scope is almost completely covering the loading port even though it's all the way back against the back ring. I realize I need higher rings as well. Was going to go with a one piece mount. Still have to use a small scope though.

I still have eyes as well, but still kinda hard to hit a1" circle at 50 yards without a scope. Maybe I'll just keep it unscoped. Should be effective enough to 30 yards.

I've read that some Diana models don't have a scope stop. How do you stop the scoop from creeping? Your 54 probably has some recoil mechanism to help that though.

This all started because I really wanted an under lever, but the price on the 52 was a little over $200 and I thought it was a good deal. Are the side levers more cumbersome than and under lever or break barrel?
