If you talk to any anodizing shop they will tell you that every batch will be slightly off. If you want the color to match do ALL parts at the same time. Sweden and USA powder coat can be close but is very hard to match.

Id buy a barrel for your dies..I can only afford to shoot if i can make my own slugs..Im casting and powder coating now..I understand the benifits of swage slugs.. can you modify the die for heavier slugs..My custom condors have plenty of power for 40-52 gr slugs.. So would a FX .22 heavy slug...

i cast and powder coat slugs right now in .510 up to 650 grain and .223 and .225 in the 45 grain range im adding .257 to the collection soon..:):)

Spure plate lube is just synthetic chain saw oil.. I use NOE sizers.. Many to chose from.. A hydroponics blower and hose to suck the fumes outside... Also a toaster oven if you want to powder coat..

There are gto lead free, cphp with a copper coating that can help. In the firearms world a lot of guys who cast bullets (like I do). Size the projectiles and powder coat them. You don't need the whole powder gun or anything. The powder polymer paint and a toaster over will do with some...

I do elvis ammo shake and bake method.. I do up to 25lbs of .510 slugs at a time..It s pretty easy.. I use a regular size oven so 25lbs on a cookie sheet 12 min at 420 f and otta oven strait into water...They all seperate and look perfect no marks..I also use this method on .224 slugs 44-52...

@RM.510bigbore , just read your thread on powder coating. Actually looks pretty simple. I have a couple of questions. How do you handle them from the shaker to the pan? And do you size the before or after coating? My sizing die is .357. If I size then coat, will they be to large? Not sure the...

Good point, if I go through the whole trouble of disassembling it down to pieces and stripping down the original paint, I'll most likely get it powder coated then. Thank you!
