FX Is the Crown Going Away?

I loved the one crown I owned I had a .177 & .22 barrel for it and it was very accurate and overall just a fun gun to own. I did buy a .30 King and replaced the GRS to a saber tactical stock which made it far better for shooting off a bench, and I love this gun extremely accurate and easy to...

    30-Yard Challenge

I’m just following what everyone else is doing to keep it fair. This isn’t a sanctioned event so If we all agree on a standard for this competition it’s all good to me.👍

    30-Yard Challenge

My plunger or shank or (whatever its describing as) exactly.19650 and will try to get the scoring flange to .22150 but I believe I’m close enough to not really change the scoring outcome! You’re basically in the 10 thousands of a inch…

    30-Yard Challenge

TheAirgunnero, I just tuned a scoring plug exactly the dimensions you show on your Mic. My flange = .22170 ( not sure my lathe is accurate enough to get to exactly that .22150 ? )and will use this from now on for scoring. Note: this is still below the .2224

    30-Yard Challenge

Ok, with the WRABF scoring Dia. I measured.2200? This is with out plastic magnifier because it gives me a more accurate reading. I also use the .177 plug for all my scoring. I will start using a .22 plug with the turned down scoring flange of .2160 Mike N. Plug I turned down to make sure I’m in...

    30-Yard Challenge

Maybe this has already been brought up? But would like to know if you shoot a .22 do you use a .22 plug and what’s the scoring Dia. .2155 which is the outer dia. Of the Scoring ring from the plug of 10m with the clear plastic magnifier? If you use a .177 dia. Plug then there is a lot of play...

    30-Yard Challenge

Tommy, I seat mine flush with thimble as well my probe is set pretty tight against thimble (delrin seat) Mine is tight enough that over time it’s actually deformed this seat? But that’s how I received it, you can back the the probe out a little or make it tighter if wanted. It’s simple enough to...

    30-Yard Challenge

I also want people to know I use plugs made by Mike Niksch and so you can better see the actual ring with much better accuracy and definition.

    30-Yard Challenge

Thanks NA, I really haven’t done any tuning to the gun they come pretty set from Martin. It shoots the original 13.4 jsb’s at around 815fps, I put an air stripper on it “barrel likes it better than a moderator!” I have a Athlon 15-60x56 Ares ETR scope on it, it’s ok! But better choices out there...

RAW Rapid TM1000X Benchrest .22 with Benchmark Barrel

Guy I used to shoot with had a Brux barrel a 3 groove “I believe” on his RAW TM and I had a 6mm Brux on a center fire and they were both super shooters! You would probably have to have a custom bore diameter for pellets but I bet worth it!
