When cocking the gun some time hammer spring is stuck and then it is released when the cocking lever is halfway. This dosenot happen all the time, only once in a while. Ok, will reduce the spring tension and see whether the adjusting screw holds it's position.

Is there a way to remove that side piece. I like to see whether the threads are stripped. I didn't see anyone removing that in any disassemble video.
