    GX-CS4. Power supply mount.

RC battery connectors like Dean's or XT90 are also good choices that don't take up much space.

    New Slug press in market

Corbin is the only one I'm aware of making dies for a reloading press. At least they used to.

    New Slug press in market

2 problems with the Thor Press. 1st, die is .21865 and punches are all @ .2177, so this leads to trimming every stinking base due to the heavy flashing. 2nd is the slop in the linkage but i had corrected that with custom linear shafts from MISUMI, so now there is zero play and they can be...

Real life lead poisoning from airgunning

I just started using them a few months ago. After handling lead for hours on end, it's just easier to peal off the gloves. I also think exposure to lead dust is far less when you make your own. Your starting off with clean lead wire and if you lube your projectiles before shooting, there is very...

    Losing interest?

My posting had dropped off, but not my shooting. Hot, cold, wind, I shoot whenever I have time. Shooting is my enjoyment and I don't see that going away.

    FX 700mm FX King

Yeah, for that setup, you need at least the 8mm hammer, slug probe and maybe the tungsten hammer.

    FX 700mm FX King

It crossed my mind for a minute with the 700mm barrel, but I'm quiet happy with the 600mm length and shooting 34gr slugs. Did you change out the stock hammer.

N/A Average Distance of your shooting sessions?

Skout Airguns Tech Tuesday - Slug Lubrication

I'm not aware of any lube that will remove the oxidation. You may want to tumble them in media like walnut shells, clean and lube.

Skout Airguns Tech Tuesday - Slug Lubrication

I lube my slugs I make with what I use to swage them. Seems to work well.

    FX FX Panthera trigger

I had carefully applied heat to the ball plunger to soften up the spring inside. It definitely helped.

How to Use a Corbin S Press - A Thread Geared Toward Beginners

Very easy for clean up. Haven't received my s-press yet, hopefully very soon. Experience is from using my Thor Press. I can't see there will be any difference in the lube between the two. Once I get my new press, I will add the experience etc. I did ask Kelly if they could not scribe the top of...

How to Use a Corbin S Press - A Thread Geared Toward Beginners

I stopped using that. It does work well but been using Brimshiner Black Powder Bore Grease with great results. Better finish and release is what I have experienced.

How to Use a Corbin S Press - A Thread Geared Toward Beginners

I haven't tried a stamp pad, but sounds similar. I tried both the RCBS and Lyman, but prefer the RCBS. It has a high density foam vs a felt on the Lyman. As far a drying out, I don't have a problem with the lube I have been using. I only reapply every couple hundred cores or so. I also use the...
