I don't like to do that often as when there is pressure there is a lot of friction not the thread even with correct lube. The gun certainly still need the shut off valve or one would need to screw off the bottle every time and I would also worry about thread wear like you mentioned.

Your hammer weight is the heavy 14 gram so you should be using reg pressure range between 130 and 150 bars at the rear reg. Your hammer is way too heavy for the reg pressure, if you shoot slugs then just set your reg to 180/150 and use the HS to tune.
