Will dry air dry out occassional moisture intrusion

Not sure I fully understand. If there's moisture in your tank it'd be wise to remove air & valve & dry tank out (inverted in the sun or use hair drier). It's a good practice to open all filters after use to air dry even if you don't THINK there's moisture in there. Probably is. Is my answer...

    14/14 kills

Where? Valley Center perhaps or south county? Headed there (Vly Ctr) tomorrow to kill the ground squirrels. Picked up 3 new permissions this past month, I'm blessed (& good at what I do). Now have 5 adjoining properties & about 150 acres to walk & stalk. Looks like you had a good day. Keep...

What qualifies as a quality post

Quality posts, to me, are an indication of interest, involvement & desire to become a part of this "community". For very many of us the Classifieds are just a fringe benefit of being on a communication platform where people so generously share their knowledge & wisdom & sometimes equipment...

"Next level, Incredible, Amazing" - the NEW Utah Airguns facility!

I thought they were IN a relatively new facility. Some people just can't sit still  🤪. Good luck to them.

    F class bipod

Wow, surprisingly affordable! I expected at least $300. Does it fold up for portability? Probably not, with the leg adjustment & all.

    Microbore Failure

Sooner or later it'll happen to all of us. My 1st year I had ss braided microbore hose that lasted 2 months & died with a very loud POP & ripped apart the ss braid around it. Still using its replacement 9 years later. May be time to change it out

N/A My biggest aggravation in PCP guns ..so far..

8 years in with my Boss & Royale & I still love them. Royale has never even been serviced but for occasional clean & lube. Boss got a Huma reg a couple years ago. Very easy to do. Traded my Bobcat recently for an Edgun, r3 slug gun (.22). NEVER have any poi shift problems. My simple, robust &...

    New blood here

Welcome aboard! The search bar here is your friend. SOOO much helpful information to be had here from the most basic to very highly technical stuff (that's way over my "pay grade"). Mostly good, helpful folks are found here. Enjoy the ride.

Filtering the Input vs. the Output of the Compressor!

It's unlikely that filtering intake air will remove 100% of the moisture unless one spends more than what the compressor costs on a high grade system. Outgoing moisture is created by adiabatic heating (pressurizing air) & condensation which will happen even if ingoing air is filtered. For our...

N/A My biggest aggravation in PCP guns ..so far..

It's NOT FX! It's the PLATFORM one chooses. It bugs me when people trash a company when it's one or two of the particular platforms they chose that's caused them troubles & frustration. I have nothing but admiration for the Bobcat, Boss, Royale platform. Their other complex guns, not so much...

N/A My biggest aggravation in PCP guns ..so far..

Look for a used FX Royale or Bobcat, Taipan Veteran, Daystate Huntsman, Edgun r3, you know, the guns that have a reputation for simplicity, accuracy, no poi shift!

    FX DRS Accuracy

Have you run it through chrony? Exactly WHICH pellets have you tried? 18.13gr JSB should be your starting point. Those work well in most .22's & gun is capable of better @ 50 yards.

    Reticle $

9+ years shooting airguns, probably had 6 different scopes with IR, have NEVER used it & I only hunt. YMMV.

Newbie question on controlled filling of air rifle

Fill slowly, bleed quickly, PAY ATTENTION as you reach desired pressure. YOU are the "system" to keep from overfilling.

N/A My pellet and slug best rifle selection

My "new" .22 slug gun, Edgun r3 shooting Daystate Howlers, .217, 20.2gr, NSA .217, 20.3 gr or FX Hybrids, 22gr. All shooting around 905‐915fps. PERFECT performance. Only slugger I own. Never wanted to go down that Rabbit Hole but it came to me set up, calibrated & ready to go (by Centercut, no...

I didn't know 1/2gr pellets existed! Made from upseedaisium? :p :ROFLMAO: . Lightest pellet I know of is 4.7gr, .177.

Some BR questions and troubles i can´t solve it

Have you tried the next heavier pellet? The 18gr JSB work very well in so many .22 guns but we have no control over Mother Nature. The 25gr might not be quite as affected as the 18gr. 72 meters should be a piece of cake for your gun. I hunt, no BR stuff but always have to account for wind. The...
