Shot this one yesterday at about 15 yards or so with my .25 condor ss with 31gr H&N baracuda. I was lining up a head shot, then the dog ran out and scarred it. it ran farther up the tree and the only sure hit I could get was a vitals shot. The condor hit it like a truck and it fell stone dead...
It was good, cooked for about 5 1/2 hours. Meat literally fell of the bone. Used a beef roast seasoning mix, a whole large onion, two large carrots, several potatos. Cooked for 5 hours and deboned then cooked for another 1/2 hour.
I'm going to try making a stew with them in my crock pot. I've done chili before, fired with gravy and a few other things probably. Been several years since I have been able to squirrel hunt so I don't' really remember any specific recipes. I'll post how it turns out.
Shot this squirrel this afternoon. .22 hatsan 95 vortex, 17.75gr vortex pellets, about 15 yards resting on sliding door frame. Head shot, dropped stone dead. Cleaned and in fridge. It will be cooked up this weekend with the other few that are in the freezer.
Want to buy a oem airforce sling mount for the but plate of my condor along with its e clip. I have a bipod with a sling mount on it already for the front, so figure i'd see if I can find just a rear one before spending $25 for the set. I have paypal or can figure somthing else out if needed...
They changed the safety again? Last I knew there were two types, the orginal wire saftery with the little red rubber cap and the newer ones with a large blade. Hopefully its less crappy.
I depressurize airguns with my handpump. Pump till hear the check valve open, then crack the bleeder. Let it drain real slow. Drains all the air outof my airguns well. dunno aboubt for these but maybe worth a shot.
I started with a hand pump. Still have it and still use it for guns with smaller air reservoirs, or when I don't feel like messing with my tuxing compressor. I killed a few deer with my single tube dragon claw that I filled with my hand pump. It's a pretty good workout but they work well. I...
the lee 340-f dose so well in my texan that I have not tried anything else. they cast right about 350gr in pure lead. Deer shots are close here so I am sighted in at 50 yards. I picked up a used single cavity version for about $25 shipped a few years ago. I had meant to use that mold to get me...
For sale or trade is my center point 2x20 pistol scope. It's in a one piece mount to make it easy for me to take on and off the 1322 project gun it was on when I took it apart to tinker. I've moved to a see all open sight. Also includes the original weaver rings, box, paper work and cleaning...
