I have taken deer at 55 yards and some javalinas an coyotes about that distance. With a Vulcan 3 HP .30 Cal or something more powerful like a .357 or .45 Cal, what would be the farther away distance for an ethical shot? Please share your informed opinion.

This is the very First group I shot at that distance. I used the FX Panthera Compact Hunter .25 Cal and JSB 33.4 grain MKII pellets. There was some unpredictable wind. With out wind and some practice the groups will be better !

This is logic. But I had not catch it up to now: Irrespective of your bottle is 700 cc, along a shooting session, the lower the pressure in the bottle, the longer time it takes for the plenum to get refill. So….. In order to keep POI, you need increasing time among shots as pressure in bottle...

Rifle becomes much more stable at shot if you increase weight in the front of the rifle. A heavy steel sill attached to the down weaver rail, helps A LOT !
