How to cool a cs4 or cs4-i, even better than just bleeding the air pocket.

Bleeding the air pocket out of the cs4 models is simple and easy to do, and it'll result in lower temps, many times significantly. However with about 15 to 20 minutes of work, you can potentially drop up to another 10 degrees. It involves rotating the CS4 radiator and fan. Nice thing, the...

New GX filter is coming out!

Just found out this new filter is coming soon to the US market. 40mpa/5800psi Water drain Two pressure relief valves, one from filter to tank, the other from filter to compressor Strong magnets on the side to make it super easy to attach to your compressor. Very well built and was heavily...

Gx cs4 and cs4-I water fill and lower temps...

When you are first setting up the CS4 models. The radiator water comes in and out at the bottom. If you lean the compressor over, you can clear out the air pocket that may occur in the top of the radiator. Temps can drop over 20 degrees just by doing that alone. Your water will look cloudy if...

Getting ready for fall and winter.

Temps will be dropping here soon I'll definitely need to get the airguns that will be used for hunting sighted in and ready to go. It's no fun doing it outside at near zero degrees or cold wind. Had this one out, as it'll be used for Squirrel hunting. Follow up shots are quick and easy to...

    Multiple compressor manifold

Has anyone here built one of these? I just finished up 2 GX-E5K2's and want to hook all three that I currently have together. The speed for filling large bottles should be pretty impressive with this set up. I have 3 outlets that will work as each is on their own breaker. If anyone has made...

N/A Airgun Revisions custom build from a few years ago...

I have not shot this one in awhile so brought it out today to hit some spinner targets. Gun still was holding and shoots like it did the day I got it

Modern compressor used on an early PCP rifle

Using the GX EL3 is sure better than hand pumping. Getting this old airgun from approximately 1740 mfg sighted in and ready for deer hunting this fall. Since it is a muzzle loader, it is usable for the gun deer season and the muzzle loader season here. At only 750PSI it's easy and fast to...

    Wisconsin airgun hunting regulations

Well, this should be interesting First year for big game airgun hunting in WI.. and this vague regulation is what we have to go by. Open to way to much interpretation by any DNR agent or individual I think.

Easy way to get apples from a tree top

Loaded up this Girandoni and decided to shoot some apples down. Works pretty good, except not much left after getting hit by .457 round balls

GX cs2 and cs3 fan positions and cs4 cylinders

GX has changed the fan postions a number of times on the cs2 and cs3 models, and that corresponds with cylinder design changes...Also with the cs3 some do not and never had the large fan at the back of the motor, this also is directly related to the cylinder fan positions. If one was to remove...

N/A New to me PCP shotgun...

Picked this old PCP gun up. It's a small bore, about .36 cal. No name found on or inside of it. It only has a tiny front bead and it's a smooth bore. I'm assuming this is an early shotgun from the way it is set up. It does have a decent size main spring.

    Somewhat odd Sheridan model C

I was looking this gun over and if I have read UJ's book correctly, it's a limited production span with its features. Early 1961, before May of that year. Beaver tail/wide forearm No handguard Straight bolt Thumb safety

N/A Career Dragon Slayer vs mid 1700's big bore.

I took these two guns out today and did some shooting. The old Bosler that was most likely made in the 1740's was recently resealed using modern materials. The Bosler was shooting a .465 ball which is undersized and I had no patches on hand... needless to say, it's accuracy suffered. Career...

It was nice out today. Took the Bosler and Girandoni to a friends...

First time firing the Bosler. A new valve and new seals were made. The gun shoots great and was filled to 600psi. We were shooting .465 round balls. My friend Larry who casts the lead was having fun shooting these things Video needs editing later... but wanted the first shot of the gun on filmed

N/A Ohio airgun show purchase. Career Dragon Slayer

I picked this up at the airgun show this past weekend. I remember seeing these years ago and wanted one. Totally forgot all about them. Seen a guy handling this one, as soon as he set her down and walked away. I swooped in😂. It was empty of air so there was the concern of it not working...

    Walther LGV

Just picked up a couple of these guns. Never owned one before and haven't shot either yet. Ones in .177 the other is .22. Unfortunately, no open sights on the synthetic stock gun. From reading about them they may be a decent gun. Anyone have any opinions on these things?
