I just got an email from Pyramyd listing refurbished products that they have on sale. I consider a refurbished product as a used item. It could have been a defective product returned by a customer or something found before shipping. The prices asked were not reduced very much and not worth...
RAW Micro Hunter in .177 caliber for sale in as new condition including one magazine and original factory hard case (scope and rings not included). It shoots 15.5 fpe and gets 50 shots per fill. I have not played with any adjustments since I purchased it new. Retune it to 12fpe, remove the...
There are more and more good quality scopes being produced today, but the manufacturers seem to shy away from compact scopes. Most are too long and too heavy and are designed to produce large magnification and all kinds of fancy features. There are a few available, but all into the cheap gun...
I've got a number of PCP and spring piston air rifles and have some (what I think) are nice scopes like Athlon, Sightron, Arken and Hawke scopes that at a quality level enough for my shooting activites. I've had cheap scopes before and have no desire to buy any more of them. I do have a...
If you were to choose between the HW 97K or an HW 77 or 77K, which would it be? Near as I can tell, they both have the same powerplant but the 77 has a longer barrel without the fauxny moderator and comes with iron sights.
It seems like interest and dealer stock of FX Crown rifles is becoming less and less. It’s a fine rifle with a lot of capabilities as good as most of these frankenguns FX has since introduced. What’s your thoughts?
Those of you that own multiple HW rifles like the 35, 50, and 95, if you had your choice of one of those three, which would you choose? What's outstanding about the 35 that I should have one? I'm considering a 35 since I've heard so much about it. I already have a 30 and 95 and have had a 97.

For you Daystate owners with electronically controlled triggers, please comment on their long term reliability. I'm considering either a Red Wolf or the mechanical version Wolverine. Also, those with .177 cal rifles, how many shots per fill do you get? Some have said 400 which I find a little...

Which is the best tuning kit for the HW95: Vortek, ARH, or Tinbum? Each seems to have it's following. The components of the Tinbum kits appeals to me because of the lubricity of the Delrin material. Please, if you have only used one of these kits and have not used others, then you have no...
There seems to be more discussion lately on cut rifled barrels being superior to button rifled barrels. Rifling can be produced by single point cutting tools where a tool is drawn through the bore to cut one groove at a time, buttons that are pulled through and form the rifling all at once ...
Brand new in box is a complete Arken SH-4 GenII 6-24X50 FFP scope with illuminated reticle and sunshade. This has a 34 mm tube and is super bright and lives up to the great reputation that everyone raves about on Youtube. I have 5 other Arken scopes and have run out of rifles to mount...
As expected and no surprise, it appears that scope prices are on the rise. Arken, who has held prices pretty low, has raised prices. They were dirt cheap before, but not so much anymore. Sightrons are higher as well.
Judging by the latest posts on this and other forums, it seems that airgun interests are going in different directions. 4 or 5 years ago, all you read about was high end rifles and getting power out of them for long distance shooting. This was stimulated by the Extreme Benchrest competition...
Cameraland sent me an email introducing a new line of Geman scopes called GPO Centuri. These are compact (9.9 inches) and lightweight (20 oz) and cost less than $600. They are FFP (although I prefer SFP), illuminated reticle and focus down to 10 yards. All the features I've been looking for...
