Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

You're more than welcome because the addiction has been very real for a few decades and I've also learned that if "you buy once, you cry once". I've continued to cry because there's always one more that the bug is biting you for!

Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

Hello, my name is Fleming from North Carolina and my obsession with air guns started when I grew up on a small farm with my grandparents pretty close to 60 years ago. Back then, our grandparents didn't trust us with bb guns until later on in our teen years but they finally gave us our first...

Sad news for the airgun community..passing of Will Piatt

My sincere condolences to the Piatt family and friends because we've lost not a good man but a great man within our community. I met Will many years ago as a member of the Tar Hill Airgun Club and I must say that he was a friend to all, I can't say that he never met a stranger, he was a true...

    .177 in the wind

Thanks for sharing because the .177 can get the job done if shot placement and conditions are favorable.

The FX Maverick and the "Pee-Wee" .177

@qball, thanks for sharing your thoughts as well because I've got some .177 Hades coming on tomorrow that I'm going to try out.

The FX Maverick and the "Pee-Wee" .177

@2L8, I bought a tin of the 16.2 Beast and I tried them out in my Dream Tac at 30 yards, I was impressed because I've never shot anything heavier than 10.4s. Shooting .177s in windy conditions is just a little something different that I enjoy doing while giving the big boys a break.

The FX Maverick and the "Pee-Wee" .177

Thank you plingpling, I'm just curious because everyone on this side of the planet seems to shoot the larger pellets and no one seems to care for the .177, whether it's the Maverick Compact with the 300 cc bottle or either one of the larger bottles. It does seem as though your Maverick shoots...

The FX Maverick and the "Pee-Wee" .177

I've read and seen more than a few reviews on the Maverick and the Impact in .22 through .30 caliber but I've not seen too many reviews on the "Pee-Wee" .177. I'm just curious because the .22s and up seems to be the pellet of choice when a person decides to purchase the Maverick or the Impact. ...

    Weirauch vs AA Quality

I bought the TX200 in .177 first some years ago, I loved it for its build quality and balance but I had to buy the HW97 in .177 to know and appreciate the difference. For me, they're both keepers and it's always great knowing that I own and shoot 2 of the greatest fixed barrel springers ever...

    Air guns and veterans.

I would have to say yes, yes and yes again because most of my shooting is done no where close to hunting season. For me, it about trigger time and I don't have to travel miles away for home to enjoy shooting some well built air arms.

What’s the cheapest pellet trap I can make?

I forgot to mention that I also use old telephone books. magazines and once it's filled, I'll use duck-tape so that it will last or hold up outside in the elements. Duck tape last almost forever outside and my pellet traps a pretty quite.

What’s the cheapest pellet trap I can make?

Dave Cole is right on point because that's what I done for decades and it does not cost a thing. More than likely, I'm sure you have a bunch of old pants, worn out shirts and maybe a pair of old shoes that you have no use for laying around. The right size box, it does not have be so large...

What did you shoot this week?

After suffering from a concussion for over 2 months, I was finally able to spend a little time with my Daystate Wolverine 2 in .22 caliber and my Daystate Revere in .177 caliber. It's not easy trying to function day to day after having your brains scrambled but it was truly worth it plinking...

    There IS a dark side:

The addiction is very real and the sickness continues until you come to the realization that "just one more" is a temporary fix!

    .177 long may it reign!

This "pee-wee" (the .177) has proven itself for decades and it will "never" find itself at the back of the line anywhere. Within the last year, I've bought 3 "pee-wee" .177s and they will never take the back seat to anything within its class. The very first airgun that I bought was the RWS 45...

The Atomic goes nuclear... first kills

"A picture is worth a 1,000 words" and you've proven to everyone that the 2 of you can get the job done which makes the perfect pair! I tip my hat to you for your skills and for sharing another fantastic post with pictures to prove that it can be done with that set up.

Move over big dogs, the little Atomic XR is moving in...

L.Leon, if this makes you happy, go for it and I'm happy for you. I too am a fan of Brocock because they are very fine shooters, so keep us posted as to how well it works for you.

    Shooting this verses shooting that!

@ L,Leon That's where the love for bb guns started with me on a small farm with my grandparents. I'll never forget those years spent with sling shots, rubber band guns and finally with bb guns when our grandparents thought we were old enough to appreciate them.
