    Need a lightweight target rifle

The Crosman Challenger 2021 is a very good lightweight target rifle. From a bench rest with a scope it gets edged out by my Walther LG400 for precision groups. However, when standing freehand my skills are not good enough to tell the difference. The Crosman is so light that I like to add weight...

FWB Feinwerkbau 800 Universal cocking lever?

Glad to see it worked out for you. I was looking really close at the FWB Universal recently; and a bunch of other ten meter rifles. I ended up going with a Walther LG400. How do you like your FWB overall? Kenny

    12 oz Co2 quality?

I’ve used Crosman, Daisy and Umarex and haven’t really noticed any difference. I use a lot more Crosman though because of the larger 40 cartridge box available at Walmart. Better economics with the large box. I’ve never come across an empty cartridge from any of the brands. Kenny

Other Need help with new gun decision. Analysis Paralysis

In my opinion an FX Crown MK2 in .177 would serve you well as a dual purpose rifle. It won’t be the perfect rifle for for either pesting or Field Target; but it will straddle that line well. I have two Crown MK2 rifles. One in .22 for hunting/ pesting and another in .177 that I use for...

Decent AR Metal gong set from Amazon

Do the 3/8" gongs move much when hit by pellets? I wonder if my Panthera shooting .22 slugs could swing those around. What caliber are you hitting them with? Kenny

    How do YOU challenge YOU?

Just a simple air rifle silhouette course is challenge enough for me. Doesn’t sound like much on the surface; but when you’re standing there, holding your rifle freehand, trying to stay on a turkey at 37 yards, you will find plenty of challenge. Kenny

    Best quality .177 rifle pellets?

In my Walther LG400 and in my FWB 601 the H&N Finale Match Heavy perform very well. They are the best Wadcutter that I have tried so far. They performed better that RWS R10 for me. Kenny

    Beeman P17 cocking assist

Cool idea. They are a bit of a bi*ch to close aren’t they.

    HW/Weihrauch HW30 walnut

I should have framed my question more clearly. What I wanted to ask was if your expectation of it taking a couple months total time was due to the time to let each layer of oil dry properly before adding the next layer? Thanks. Kenny

    HW/Weihrauch HW30 walnut

Is that time frame to let the oil set and dry before adding each successive new layer?

Thank you. Now I have to work up the confidence to give it a try. :) Kenny

    HW/Weihrauch HW30 walnut

Can you please give a quick description of how you applied walnut oil to your stock. Can you let me know which exact oil you used? My HW30N arrived yesterday. It looks nice (not as nice as yours or a couple others I saw but still nice). It feels how you described yours. Very smooth but like it...

200 Yard Airgun Range Ready for Use!!!

Sounds like it was tough work for you to build that range. I’m glad to hear that your Texan performed well. I hope that you make lots of fun memories shooting there with friends and family. Kenny

    New to airguns, from Pittsburgh

Welcome to the family. You've picked a great place to hang out. Most of the members are very friendly and willing to help out whenever they can. I'm on the opposite end of the country so I can't answer your range question. Kenny

Are the photos that you posted earlier today taken after you applied the walnut oil? Did you take any photos before the oil. Thanks, Kenny

    Ridiculous!

131 yards on a mouse is definitely something to be proud of. Nice shot! Kenny
