Shooting inside a new custom home - old video of mine

lol, I guess the framer didn't bother with it?

What a difference a bit of bling makes...

I would love to have a wood stock on my Crown instead of the boring black synthetic look. I finally got brave (or stupid) to spray paint my Crown last year. Now it is my one of a kind Crown.

    Coyote #9 - finally

@BlackICE. Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, I am only looking for head shot that is available. I have a mixed feeling about shooting a higher calibre gun. I don't want to take it for granted that because I have a much powerful gun that I could just sling off a shot thinking that the coyote...

Shooting inside a new custom home - old video of mine

I was just going through my old YT videos and came across this one. I thought I would bring it back to life and post it here for those who hasn't seen this one yet. This was about 4 years ago where I did some contract work for a new client, a custom home builder. I dropped by the site to...

    Coyote #9 - finally

@JimD. Thank you for your input. Yes, 30 calibre would be more suitable for coyotes with the right power output and body shots can be taken as well. I only look for head shots if the shot was available, otherwise I would not take a shot. I practiced a lot shooting tight groups at my target...

    Coyote #9 - finally

Yes, the coyotes in my region have very thin skull. As long as the projectile hits the brain area, the coyote would die from head trauma with the penetration to the brain. My first coyote was shot with an 18gr pellet at a speed of 905 fps; 30ft.lb. The energy was 18 ft.lb at 70 yards and the...

    Coyote #9 - finally

LOL, bloody unlikely because my golf game sucks big time. Luckily pellets/slugs fly straighter in my guns than I can shoot them with.

    Coyote #9 - finally

Lots of more superior shooters out there but unfortunately I am not in their class. I am just an average Joe who is trying to learn and improve my shooting and hunting skill. I post these videos to share my raw and real experiences with fellow AG enthusiasts. Definitely not to brag about my...

    Coyote #9 - finally

Thank you. I do take my time to aim at the intended target area in the temple, back of head or between the eyes. I would refuse the shot if the coyote didn't present these positions to me. Most of the time, my stalking turned out to be uneventful because of bad timing and no signs of coyote...

    Coyote #9 - finally

Yes, the shot was a bit low. It would be perfect just below the ear. I haven't seen that young pup in the trail cam footages since. Only the two adult coyotes came back since. I will continue to monitor of course.

    Coyote #9 - finally

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. The right way of dispatching these coyotes is to use powder burner, period. Unfortunately, I don't have one. I don't suggest to viewers to follow my lead of using .22 calibre airguns for coyotes. I am doing this because it has worked for me...

    Coyote #9 - finally

@Healthservices. Thank you. Yes, that new shooting platform is wonderful and perfect to hide both myself and my scent with the "poop machine squasher" there, lol. I will definitely have more opportunity to get my next coyote from there.

    Coyote #9 - finally

Thanks. It was a young skinny pup and I don’t think it survived. I was using a Pard007S clip on night vision scope mounted on my Element Helix 2-16x50mm SFP scope.

Coyote #9 video has been released. Please link it at the "Hunting" section. Thanks.

    Coyote #9 - finally

Yes, definitely a challenge to get a decent shot at these coyotes as they move around so erratically. To make matter worst, I had to content with my adrenaline and excitement when seeing one in my scope. I will continue to monitor the trail cams to see if the pup would return. But so far my...

    Coyote #9 - finally

Yes, coyotes have been a problem in our region where people/pets got attacked in the park. A few cases of dogs got snatched and killed as well. The farmer was concerned about his livestocks with the coyotes roaming his farm so freely so he asked me to help him dispatch some of them. I will do...

    Coyote #9 - finally

Yes, I know where I need to hit the vital area in the head. I was able to collect my first two coyotes' skull because the lady owner of the farm was a taxidermist. The coyote's skull is actually very thin so with enough power, the projectile can easily penetrate and hit the brain. The side...

    Coyote #9 - finally

Yes, a higher calibre gun would be better for coyotes. Unfortunately, I only have .22 calibre in my collection. So far all the coyotes I shot in the past have been used with my Impact MK2 shooting 25 and 27gr slugs, all except my coyote#1 where I used my 500mm Crown shooting the AA 18gr...

    Coyote #9 - finally

Here is part 3 of my coyote#9 hunt. It was shot in the head at 65 yards with my FX Impact MK2 with 25gr slug. Enjoy.

Anyone convert FX Impact MK2 .22 calibre to .25 calibre?

100% in agreement. If it works, leave it alone. Lol.
