Maybe you torqued the nut that holds the liner in the sleevewith more or less force than before ,and the liner "bends" in the sleeve different than before???creating a difference in change of trajectory? 

If u take the bracket off to mount it on your barrel, is there a screw/female thread underneat there?

Concerning the glare,I think so. And yes there is an adapterring to modify the original sideshot cellphone holder,to a actioncamera mount indeed.

Really depends on what u want to spend...if u want really cheap go for what is told above.not the greatest but it will do the job.something more expensive is the sideshot system(in combination with your cellphone,work fine but sometimes hard to get set up right. Or spend a bit more and buy the...

I also use a samsung s21 in combination with the sideshot scopemount and have/had difficulties sometimes.did u already adjust the eyepiecering on your scope after getting a clear image but fuzzy crosshair?that might help.what I do know is that alot of light shining in from the side gets caught...
