With my impact I strive to reduce the number of mechanical connections between scope and barrel, so one piece non adjustable mounts. I also resist mounting and unmounting, keeping it as settled as possible. Remounting, zeroing and then a thermal cycle will usually result in a POI shift.

If your club offers Freestyle do that for your first couple matches. You can use a rangefinder checking your ranging, adjust your scope turrets as much as you like, ignore forced positions or not... it is up to you with no grace needed.

I am back to buckwheat hulls after trying beans, cut foam, cut memmory foam... Only the buckwheat settled in quickly, no bounce and some structure present. Cheapest I could find bulk hulls for($44 for 25lbs)...

I have seen three of these in matches, all failed during match. 2 were obviously overloaded and one stopped locking. All were never to be seen again.
