Yes, winds were light from 7 to 5 more or less that's why almost always holding on the center. Those tail winds give some weird verticals some times, I prefer to shoot in crossed winds. Those I believe are 38-40gr The last shot was the lucky one 🤣
What's the oring size in the picture and where can I buy it if available? Mora lost all air by night and when I tried to air it up it does not hold any air. Disassembled and found that oring damaged that goes into the square sized part. Thanks for the help. J.H
That's correct. I used the 22 all the way up till Sat for the One Gun Challenge points. Changed to the 30 on Sunday because the 50gr has less drift by the wind. Is very difficult trying to beat the 30s these days with a 22. On a calm day it is possible but you know it takes a lot of effort and...
They shoot decent sometimes Here is a group at 50 meters Thomas HPX 22cal. The 9 ring of wrabf is around 0.5 inch if I really correctly. You can see more than half of that 9 ring after the group. 104 yds group when shooter does not get fooled by the wind 😅 9 ring is around 1.25inch Pretty...
There is not magical speed my friend. I used to chase speed years ago. The temperatures in Phoenix were so high this year that both the 22 and the 30 were shooting at least 20fps higher than normal (990fps and 930fps) Still accurate but I strongly believe the 22 could have been prone to spirals...
Maybe a bad habit trying to calm down and not rush too mucg into a string of 10s. Sometimes you shoots a couple 10s in a row and don't pay attention to the flags change, then a terrible 8 shows up horizontally speaking. You have to use whatever suits you best.
I was told by a very knowledgeable person that Thomas Air heats the barrels to extreme temperatures and then put them to extreme cold several times back and forth until they are ready to roll 😁
