I know the 700mm comes tuned to shoot 25 grains at 975 or so in 22 cal. But I want to be sure I dont have to add a moderator to it, since adding a moderator on a 700 it will make it quite long. I prefer then a 600mm and a moderator but it seems the standard shroud does already some good work...

Thanks, my plans were to shoot max 25 grain slugs in .22 cal. Do you have an extra moderator attached? How loud is it with the factory shroud? I'm choosing to 600 because if I need to add a moderator its not super long.

Just change all the orings on the regulator. Mostly the creep comes from the 2x1 NBR 90 O-ring on the setscrew. They are a bit of a bitch to replace, the smallest nick in those can give you creep. Make sure to order a bunch of these because you will break some when installing them.

The king has my attention aswel, but in 600mm with a moderator I think its going to be too long. Sadly the 500mm is not designed for slugs

The slow shot(s) in the Impact are due the valve stiction. IMO a gun that sells for 2K should not have this problem. I own a DRS aswell, there I was able to tune it out. The King in Synthetic version has my attention aswell. Not sure about 500 or 600mm for light slugs.

For the price the Impact sells you should be able to use it full potentional without some custom fixes. Call the shop where you bought it will be the best. Im not sure if FX installed a wrong shroud there.

My stock impact hammer was not able to open the valve when the regulator hitted 120 bar even hammer on max. From there all my shows went lower and lower. I have bought the Huma hammer set, and used the lighest one. Since then I do not have the issues anymore.

@mubhaur sells a part that fixes the o ring stiction. I have it in my impact and it works flawless. No need to turn up the hammer or count how long my last shot was. Even when my Impact is stored a week first shot is perfect.
