Just a tip. I put my target on a cardboard box on my reset string line. Then I can pull it in 2y at a time without getting up.

So have I. I havent done it before but I dont see why it could hurt. If you think about it, its really not much different than being a little heavy handed with the lube when doing a re-seal. Seems kind of like an air tool, the excess just gets blown out . Im going to give it a try.

You can check the effect of the transfer port and rifling by loading a pellet using the probe. Then push it the rest of the way through with a dowel. If your getting pellet damage you'll be able to see it.

I've seen some guys use these for field target. Magnetic closure at the top. Sort silicone stretches when you reach in. Not sure what your looking for but this may be a good option.

Pellet seating depth. Make sure the most common pellets seat fully into the rifling. I have seen problems with this on Daystate rifles(Redwolf) and again recently on the BRK Ghost.
