    The info I spoke of earlier has apparently vanished along with the forum where it was posted...... An new OEM FWB piston ring measures .036 in thickness. FWB recommends they be changed out at a certain wear point as it wil allow the rings end gap to increase, allowing more blow by and lower...

    My vote goes to the ring sealing the compression cylinder. I will have to search it out, but FWB calls out the piston ring dimension, and mandate replacement at a point. I will pop back with info bits when I can track them down.

    If you want a lighter rifle, look at the FWB Junior versions of the 600 series rifles. They are a bit lighter, and you can extend the length of pull very easily to suit your stance.

    I bought a pair for myself, just to have them on hand. They are absolute quality, and appear to be identical to the OEM cup. The Seller James V. also has a lot of other hard to find parts, and I have found everything that he produces to be of high quality.
