With a name like PennyPincher, you might want to check out a different hobby than this one.

I used a .25cal tuned to 650fps with 25gr JSB pellets to drop a fox with a head shot at 40 yards. Worked just fine. I think heavier pellets hold more energy over longer distances than light pellets if I'm not mistaken.

Never had an Uragan, but I do like my Ghost.

Are those the .250 or .251 slugs?

I've only tried 25cal and 22cal in mine and have yet to mess with the hammer spring adjustment. Both do equally well when using the transfer port and power wheel that I haven't felt a need to go any further. I'll be ordering a 177cal barrel soon for it but likely won't get to test it until...

Not my video. Personally I do wash and lube my pellets and will continue to do so as I like handling them better after they've been lubed with silicone. Much cleaner.

Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking it was like the Impact and the liners fit in a sleeve. I'm guessing you can use the new version of liners, or smooth twist x liners only?

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if I'm understanding you. You need a separate jam nut, liner and thimble for each caliber and just use the existing shroud? I haven't looked at a schematic yet.

I ran across a Smooth Twist X barrel kit and was wondering if it would work on my Crown MK2. I'm guessing the current Super Lite system is better for accuracy and rigidity?

I head shot a fox at 40 yards with a 25gr. 25cal pellet that dropped like a stone. That rifle was tuned for 650fps at the muzzle.

The Brocock has an adjustable transfer port which is a plus.

It screws onto the nut on an Impact, but not on the Crown MK2 if I remember correctly.
