    257 vs 25

I have a tricked out Condor with a Nobel valve in .257. It's a shooter, but at least for me...it lost appeal quickly. I'd wanted a .257 for years and had built up another one that I sold. I took this one in a trade with the idea of doing long range shooting. I still dont think I've taken it...

    Opinions and Observations

Airgunners have a lot more choices now than what they did back when I started. The cheaper PCP's back then was either a QB or Crosman conversion or the Techstar which at one point had gone on sale at $199 at Compasseco. The choices now are mind boggling. I wont even get into airing them up...

    Let’s see them work benches

Interesting... I have the same router sled (from Crafted Elements, I think) and I use it to flatten boards. Never thought to place it in a 'box' for 3D work such as with stocks. Can you give a little insight as to how you hold a work piece in the box to form?

Couple workbenches in the gun room. Plenty more in the shop.

Other AirForce Knockoff First Look + Other Pinty Guns

I didnt even see that, when I Googled 'P force' it came up with the 'blue pill alternative' I referenced above. Will let them deal with any name conflicts!

Other AirForce Knockoff First Look + Other Pinty Guns

Haahahhaa.... So the slogan for the airguns can be 'we get a RISE out of the competition' 'Dont let a soft barrel slow you down' I can come up with many more, but dont want to get my 'p' slapped here. thanks for the chuckle

Other AirForce Knockoff First Look + Other Pinty Guns

Speaking of... not sure how much 'pull', I would have, but I can at least go to them with recommendations. So what all would you want to to see next from them? My initial thought was something like the M60. Someone earlier had mentioned a pistol. What say the fine folks here on AGN (and the...

Has any one take a deer or something with an AGT Netvor?

Same. I was excited when it came out, but the lack of 'real' reviews has kept my wallet closed. ...well, that and the hard to swallow price.

Other AirForce Knockoff First Look + Other Pinty Guns

I guess the P-Force name stuck. Pinty reached out to me to let me know they have read this thread and are going to use the name. I suggested that their entire lineup be called 'P-Force' with different designations for the various offerings 'P-Force Tactical', 'P-Force Bullpup' etc. They...

Other AirForce Knockoff First Look + Other Pinty Guns

I've heard that there will be a new offering from Pinty in the coming months. I've no clue what, but I do have my preference. Will wait and see!

    Mini Lathe for Small Parts?

Speaking of milling, I also got a cheapie HF mini mill when I got the lathe about 10 years ago and I still use it. I use it much more than the lathe. Nice for cutting out guards for knives/swords and for precise-ish drilling operations.

    Mini Lathe for Small Parts?

I think the one I posted earlier in this thread would have qualified if I had the room. Still, I'm just not certain that I would use it to its capacity. I think I'm more along the lines of this guy....

    Let's discuss hand pumps today

I have a compressor, but do keep an Amazon pump around for pistols and 'just in case' as well.

    Mini Lathe for Small Parts?

I'm still hoping to find room and a good deal on Craigslist.. but chances are getting slim.

    Mini Lathe for Small Parts?

Have seen his stuff! I'm trying to convince myself that an 'ok' lathe will be just fine. I kinda liken this to when a new airgunner comes on and states that he wants to shoot tin cans in his 20 yard backyard range and folks start recommending a RAW or FX. Just not what he needs... I...

    Barra 400E accuracy. 8 and 10 yards.

nice... I've found the 400e to be substantially better in accuracy than other BB guns I've had. It's a fun gun for sure. My only issue with it is that it really does shoot forever between charges and by then, I've forgotten what settings to use on my charger and have to dig around the net...

    Let's discuss hand pumps today

I've tried all manner of hand pumps before getting a compressor. Hill, Logun, etc, etc... 3 stage and 4 stage. Years ago, I did a test with a 3 stage vs 4 stage and the number of pumps to get to a given pressure was about the same, although the effort level of the 4 stage was 'marginally'...

    Other Which Bullpup style .177

I've had numerous bullpup configuration rifles and several in .177. Recently picked up a used P35x and I have to say I'm tickled with it. Fit and finish is nice. Cant say how it does with pellets as I've turned it up to shoot slugs and it's doing well with those out to 50 yards. I've only...
