I don't even degas while pumping. Just go slow and then take a break. Degassing means you have to waste pumps to get back up to tank pressure generating heat along the way. The first cigarette filter catches all the oil and moisture coming in to the oil/water trap.

Just get a scope mount or scope rings that can take a reddot on top. I wouldn't attach a reddot straight to the scope.

The striker adjuster just changes the distance that the hammer has to travel to hit the valve pin. There is no spring adjustment on the slingshot hammer. After looking, they already make PEEK screws so see if you can find a proper set screw that will fit and that should do it.
