I dead headed the hose so can turn it full open to closed a few times a day. I’m using silicone oil from Magnum Air Power. I don’t know as long as it’s pure silicone oil there is much difference from one brand to the next but maybe there is.

So far the silicone oil hasn’t made much difference. I have the tank sitting vertical to get gravity to help.
