I do have a small tin of the JSB jumbo monsters, lites 20.83 grains. The gun is shooting those the same as the 18.13– 970 fps. The new RDMs 25 gr come in either deep or shallow skirts. Have you tried those?

Yup, a little on the heavy side, but well made.

Some of the newer guns (the Revere) have the biathlon cocking lever compared to the older bolt style. The newer style are more expensive than the older bolt guns. You mentioned in a previous post your area is always windy. That doesn't bode well for consistent groups with an airgun...

I'm test driving a new P-2, and so far I'm getting good groups with JSB 18.13 (nickel size groups @50 yds, 970 fps). I also have a small tin of the shallow skirt 20.83 RDMs, those were ok, not great compared to the 18.13. Any of you RTI guys have recommendations? Has there been any improvement...

The Daystate Huntsman had been mentioned in a couple previous threads... Really good guns, both regulated and non. Be sure to browse the "used"section over at Airguns of Arizona. Sometimes there are really good prices compared to retail pricing.

PSA: AoA just added a used Mutant .22 in their used section. The picture looks like the Compact model. <$700.

Balista is another EU retailer that lists some Snow Peak rifles. Figure about $75 to ship to the US.
