This is a BSA .22 Mercury Challenger Carbine I refinished some time ago. I don’t normally like gloss, but it came out so pretty. And has a fine British blue job to match. Period 4x Bushnell Sportview scope. The repainted back block and trigger guard are flawless. Recut the checkers.

You only need about 146 more Weihrauchs. 😁

Good job. A good gunsmith always makes the slotted screws line up.

At first I thought the top stock was the same stock as the bottom one but quickly realized that the top one is a "stock photo" lifted from an add and the bottom one is a completely different gun. The growth rings are different. Very good result regardless.

I didn't know they sell on Amazon. I don't buy from them often but I would look at their website and then communicate through ebay. I had better success communicating that way.

That’s how I did it

First I turned the pipe nipple to diameter on the lathe. Then slotted it.

I did it like this First made a tool. Out of a pipe nipple I had handy. Then used my drill press to compress the spring. And then trigger block pins come out. And BINGO

Another JM stock that doesn’t fit my mitts. The curve. Has a different brand pad on it. Fits our sons’ normal size hands.

I think I saw them in one of the Airgun Digests or maybe shooters bible. Something like that. Very rare piece. Howa is up there with Miroku as a Japanese manufacturer. Fine. Danny has pictures of about everything. Awesome.

I Can't finish (Timberluxe) the HW30 stock until I select a butt pad. Anybody know what brand JM used on his stocks? Or recommend something other than Pachmayr because I'll probably go with something different. Not sure.
